Hello, I am new to quadcrazy looking for help with a 2003 250 Bayou I just bought. It has no fire. When I switch it on I have no netural light or any light. The battery is fine and the starter turns fine. No fire at plug. however when I kick start or use the elactric starter the netural light lightes breifly. I dont have a service manual. So I dont know where any fuses might be located. Does anyone know a site to download a pdf manual? I have gone online and found free pdf manuals for foy two Honda four trax. Thanks any on that can tell where to start of how to check the fire. Thanks Mike

I would try changing the plug because it can cometimes be a bad plug and then see if the plug sparks to a ground when you try to start it. There may be a problem with the neural switch and that may also keep it from starting depending on the year. You might be able to adjust the linkage to get the nutural light to turn on. Newer models will start in gear if the brake is locked but it may be a bit too old for that.

Yeah, try holding down the hand brake and see if it starts. I used to have a 2002 Kawasaki Bayou and I believe you could do that.

Hello Thanks for your respones. The starter will not turn the motor over from the starter button. When I switch on the key I get nor netural light at all. I can take a screwdriver and make the starter turn the motor by jumping the starter relay. Wher I do this the nutural light will light while the motor is trying to start. However I have no fire at the plug. . Where is the nutural switch? I have been told there may not fire due to the CDI. Thanks to anyone who can futher give me some advice.

      Hello All
I'm kinda new to ATVs. I just bought a 1987 Suzuki quad runner 230 Dual Range. I'm having a problem finding info on it. It's very clean, only 2.800 miles. The front wheels are only 30 in.center to center. I was thinking about adding wheel spacers to give it more stability. I realize the added stress on ball joints and bearings. I'm wondering if there are any other concerns? Any input is greatly appreciated!

I have a 1990 Bayou 220 that runs pretty well for it's age--needs a new muffler, but sounds tough.    Have had to start with a pull cord since I got it, and recently started troubleshooting the start button.  Finding a lot of information on this issue in the forum, but haven't been able to chase it down yet.  Got a new battery, new starter solenoid, and going to replace the starter relay this week, but not convinced that's going to do the trick, since I can't get the neutral light on when turning the key on.  I can start it by jumping the solenoid, but the 2 black wires to the relay do not activate the starter.  Bad ground or a short somewhere?  Is there a good way to just test the ground?

I hadn't driven my Kodiak for a two months, and since it was low on fuel, the first thing I did was filled it up to maybe 7/8 full. Getting ready to start it, I rotated the fuel selector switch to "on" and within seconds I smelled and saw fuel dripping onto the floor. I quickly turned it off and the fuel gradually stopped - I can repeat this.
The fuel is flowing from the hose that is connected to the bottom of the carb, and routes around to the left side toward the wheel well. Any idea what's going on here? It ran fine the last time I had it out.
      Thanks...
