my bike started making a rattling noise after drowning it out in water. i thought it was the timing chain tensioner, so i replaced it. that wasnt it. so i pulled the centrifugal clutch off, thinking it was that, but it still made the noise. i then took off the secondary clutch to isolate the noise even more thinking it may be the crank, and the noise stopped. so i know it is not the motor or the centrifical clutch. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT ELSE IT COULD BE. IF SO PLEASE HELP.

i found the noise. i isolated the tranny from the motor. i used a drill with a socket and turned the tranny without the machine running and it made the noise. i pulled it apart and had a bad shift fork and gear. but thanks for the info.

Well while I was waiting for new parts for the choke, I decided to adjust the clutch. When I removed the lock nut, I found the guy I bought it from or someone else had stripped the threads on the adjustment rod. I couldn’t get the adjustment rod to turn without putting a pair of channel locks on the screw driver, this was telling me something was wrong. So now the rod pushes in and out and spins freely too freely. So guess I’ll have to take the clutch housing off to see what’s going on and replace the adjustment rod, it’s threads are beyond repair, and there is something going on with the adjustment rod. If there’s another way please let me know. The further I go the worse it gets. Thanks for any help.

Hey all, I just picked up this Massimo UTV for $500. Got it home and replaced the starter solenoid which successfully got power to the starter. Starter spun but engine didn't turn over although the engine is not locked up. I thought it was a bad starter. Got a new starter put on today and it does the same thing. Pulled the clutch cover and saw the engine is trying to turn over but something is slipping and not letting it turn over. I figured it must be the gear on the engine that the starter turns. Where can I get that and can it be replaced without pulling the motor? And am I correct that that's the issue?
      Thanks!

The Ultra Bee T offers the fastest acceleration of any road-legal electric motorcycle at this price-point, with the flexibility to deal with a wide range of surfaces. With its huge capability the Ultra Bee T will appeal to people looking for a great medium distance commuter, that’s also able to turn its hand to off-road riding and green laning.

Anyone have bad experience with these clutch kits?  Looking to get one for an 80s quad that I have.
