Hey Fellers & Ladies,

To day i installed my kik azz Barkers duals for my rappy 700. Everything went fine, except for one thing. On the left side, right where the header and muffller pipe connect, the pipe touches a group of wires

I tried a piece of asbestos like/rubber gasket material for a heat shield. But it still didnt do the trick.

Has anyone had this problem??

Any suggestions to fix this problem??

* in the pics, i still have the gasket installed

u could try to loosen up the exhaust and pry the exhaust up with a bar, that may give u a little room, and then wrap the wires with an exhaust wrap, and tighten the exhaust while u have the pry bar in there...just a thought....

Doesn't seem right that the pipe runs so close to those wires. I'm thinking there may be a bad bend in the pipe somewhere causing the tight fit, or something was put on incorrectly. I would call the manufacturer or retailer that sold you the pipe and see what they have to say, they may need to send out a new part for you.

Anytime yyou are hooking up an exhaust system, you want to weight to tighten everything after you get the pipe lined up. It will never fit right if you tighten up the brackets as you are making your way back.

I'm repairing a 96 Timberwolf 2x4. Many years ago a dog chewed the wires that go from stator to the rectifier/regulator, and I've had to use the pull start ever since. Ive since lost the plug for the stator and on the wiring harness side. I'm ordering a new stator that will also come with the female plug that I need to fix it on the wiring harness side, but I have no clue in what position to put those 3 white wires(ones I'm holding with electrical tape on them) back into the new plug. Since they're all the same color, does it matter? Any info on this or pictures anyone has of their own will be very much appreciated.

So.. it a weird one.. The quad surges as you go down the road. By the looks of my tracks, it's one wheel only. High range, low range, 2 wd , 4 wd.. It just doesn't matter..
You can see in the pictures the marks it leaves. That was in a straight line, with hardly any acceleration.
      Any ideas?
