Well the bolt in the axle is still stuck in there lol, but i have some plans to get that out, and the clutch basket is really REALLY loose on the clutch gear and was making noise, so i ether need to get a new one like a rekluse basket or somehow mod mine to stop the wobble. And then i just have to put it all back together :3

For the cost of the rekluse I would save a little more and get a hinson basket instead. Rekluses are nice but I haven't met anyone with one that worked properly.

And most of the people i have talked to say the hinsons wear out really fast because of what they are made of  I heard the rekluse basket is actually vary good, i guess we have been talking to vary different people lol.

Why not keep stock clutch ? Just find a stock bastet

Im trying to mod my stock one, by doing the same thing that rekluse does with their basket by drilling the studs out so i can separate the gear from the basket and then threading the basket so i can bolt it back together and then ill put some shims next to the rubber dampeners to stop the wobble

Everyone I have talked to loves their Rekluse.

I've seen two different guys on yfz's with rekluse clutches lock up in 1st gear while racing. Blame it on improper install on them but I know with the kawi 450 there's been a few that have done the same thing, never heard a reason why though. And the only reason I really say hinson is cause a lot of race teams use it. Granted they ridiculously expensive but if they can hold up to racers abuse it should hold up to our.

I already have a rekluse Z-start and it works perfectly, All i need now is the clutch basket. Maybe rekluse stuff just hates other brands besides honda

Maybe that or I know an abundant of people who can't read instructions:confused:

      Hi,
New to ATV repair but willing to learn and get my hands dirty.
We start the atv and even with a good battery, it will drain it very quickly and eventually the atv shuts down. Checking the battery afterwards shows significant drain on it.
Would this be a shot alternator? Some electronics module?
Thank you kindly.  Just need to be pointed in the right direction and then with a repair manual will get to it.
      Cheers

So I changed out the steel winch cable on my CForce 800-2 to a synthetic I had gotten when I had my old outlander and just never put it on. That wasn’t too difficult but I had to open up the hole in the spool a bit to get the tail thru. But I got it thru put the set screw back in and wound it up. It’s one of those Amsteel type cables, 50’ with an 8’ sliding protection sleeve on the hook end. And I put on an aluminum hawse with a rubber stopper and new hook. (Which is like the Warn Epic hook. Might be a little big. Haha ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

And right before that, I pulled out the halogen headlights. Replaced them with these nifty dual color LEDs. (But because of the heat sinks on them I had to widen out the holes for the bulbs a little and then vacuum all the dust out of the light housing with an improvised headlight vacuum. Haha)
But they fit and the lights are yellow on regular beam and high beam switches them white).
