Here is Day 3. I was having a ton of fun that day. Running NW out of Barstow on dirt was a hoot. The biggest disappointment was the Old Ridge Road being closed. We were so scared of I-5, we forgot to push record on the GoPro...

Thanks for sharing your vids of the 2000 mile ride:yes: Whens the next one ?

Hopefully soon, we love getting the feedback on our ride from you guys! We're still deciding where we'll go and what machines we'll be taking (ATV's, UTV's, Dirt Bikes etc.).

We'll be sure to let everyone know as soon as we get it all figured out.

Thanks again for the feedback everyone!

just started following u guys and ur adventures. way to go!! i've been pondering the idea of making a long trek myself (on a sport atv). i will be very interested in your next trek. Do you guys make long treks fairly frequently? do you start out of Utah each time and what are the chances someone outside your group can join in on the fun? thanks for the info....

Hey guys, here's our day 5 video. It shows some of our ride from Pasadena to Lake Havasu. It was pretty eventful we broke another case off, and snapped a sub-frame!

Here's our video for the last day of our ride. We traveled from Lake Havasu all the way back home to Payson, UT. It was only a difference of about 40-50 degrees in one day!

1st problem, Does anyone know where I can find a stock carb for my Timberwolf, I have tried two different aftermarket carbs and they both suck. The machine runs great until it gets good and warm, then it keeps stalling unless I feather the throttle. it will even stall while I'm trying to go from 1st to reverse or vise versa. I took it to a buddy of mine who is a bike mechanic for years, and he told me try to find a factory carb. When I look online from dealers it says "NOT AVAILABLE" anyone have any suggestions ?

2nd, The small tab on the rear axle for towing is to short for even pulling my small yard trailer, I can't even turn a little bit and hit hits. I tried making an extension which worked great as far as length, but it bends the tab and then the extension drags the ground. I have an idea of what to do to fix it, but wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem and see how you solved it.

So I decided to pick up a small trailer if I could get one for the right price.  I found this one for a few hundred bucks on Craig’s list.  It is  a galvanized trailer which is exactly what I was looking for. The wood was shot and needed some minor repairs which I could care less about as long as the chassis was good.
I striped it down and put a new deck on. I had some vinyl realtree graphics that I had laying around so I added them to the fenders which I think worked out well. Very happy with this little guy.
I'm having the iron workers at my jobmake me up a few lightweight side rails that will have a 22 degree bend in them to accommodate the tires that slightly hang over the edge and will incorporate some tie down points as well.

I like to ride in wooded and grassy areas. It takes my mind off the everyday routines and helps me deal with my father's cancer. Also gives me a reason to get involved with forums like this one.

As the 2025 ATV Motocross National Championship Series (ATVMX), an AMA National Championship, got underway with back-to-back Florida AMA Pro only events, it was evident that Phoenix Racing Yamaha’s Joel Hetrick picked up where he left off last season.View the full article
