I.C.E. comes through here once a year, I was going to race my 500R this year, but the event came and went and I completely forgot about it. I really wanted to do that too, it was only $50 to enter and that inluded studs to screw into your tires. I have a sway bar, front lowering brackets, and an adjusable rear link for it. The guy that I bought the project from was a flattracker, so I got all that stuff with the quad and have never used it.

Just to let you guys know. There has been a rule change for quads and motorcycles. you need side number plates on both sides of your ride.

Gate fees are $10.00 per person (spectating or racing)

children 12 years and under are free with accompanying adult.

Thanks for the info Adam good to know !!!!!!If I can get away WillyPop is paying my way anyway  His CIA job pays way more than my construction job :partyc::slap:

By the way if anyone reads this and are planning on racing this weekend. Number plates need to be on the front right side and rear of your quad. They're trying to do the scoring from the outside of the track instead of the in field.

Hi my name is Greg and I just acquired a free 2000 yamaha kodiac 400 4x4 with the ultramatic transmission that does not run. I plan to get it going and use it around my property

Bought 4 wheeler for kids. Used to run and soon as it was put in gear it died. I have put new carburater, new plug and battery. The neutral light won't come on. I replaced the solenoid, then the positive battery cable and today put new relay assembly on. Still no neutral light. Not getting any juice and I don't know why.

I am new to this site. Now down to business, I have been given a Kawasaki 220, tires are trashed and it has been setting for a long time. Do I need a battery in it to find neutral? I know there is a neutral switch and if I shift down(7 times????)   then up one using the neutral switch I should be in Neutral. As you see I am in a learning curve here ......coments welcome.

Hi all - I recently had a shop fix this quad and it hasn't been right since. The jug was resealed as it was leaking, the rings were replaced, and the valve stem seals replaced. Shop said the cylinder walls were great so nothing was done there. The motor still smokes, heavily on startup and all but quits once warmed up. Enough that I can live with it if I can fix what I came to ask about. I mentioned this work because since I've gotten it back it seems like it has power but tops out at a much slower speed than before. It's old so I don't have a speedo but I pulled out my phone at it tops out at 25 mph. I know before the work, I was getting up to 45+ mph... It's so bad, my 10 year old daughter is pulling away and straight leaving me in the dust with her governed Polaris 90.
Given the work done, what are some thing I could be the cause of such a drastic difference? I immediately thought timing but the marks appear to match up with a youtube video I found... no idea if it's correct though. It sat in another shop for 2 months and they gave me an $800 quote just for the starter... it pull starts fine.
FYI: I would take it back to the original shop to figure out but I had some issues that make them a no-go for me.

I recently purchased a complete lt230s for$50. It was missing the kick starter gears which I got off eBay for $18. I’m trying to install the gears which after reading different threads about having it timed. I have it all timed but now it acts like engine is seized up but I know it’s not. What could be going on??? Any insight would greatly be appreciated.
