I own a 1994 Timberwolf 250 and use it around the farm, I use it a few times a week if the weather is OK. The other day I went to park it and put it in neutral and when it got there the green light went out. I know it is in neutral because I can push it where I need to, and the battery is good because the lights work fine, but when I hit the starter I get nothing. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

if it is stuck in between gears it would only roll for a few feet then the synchro would pop it into a gear. does all of your other lights work. if they do you could bypass the neutral switch or replace the switch. this is the most likely cause. but i would definately start with the power and ground area first. if that is ok then i would look @ the switch.

1st problem, Does anyone know where I can find a stock carb for my Timberwolf, I have tried two different aftermarket carbs and they both suck. The machine runs great until it gets good and warm, then it keeps stalling unless I feather the throttle. it will even stall while I'm trying to go from 1st to reverse or vise versa. I took it to a buddy of mine who is a bike mechanic for years, and he told me try to find a factory carb. When I look online from dealers it says "NOT AVAILABLE" anyone have any suggestions ?

2nd, The small tab on the rear axle for towing is to short for even pulling my small yard trailer, I can't even turn a little bit and hit hits. I tried making an extension which worked great as far as length, but it bends the tab and then the extension drags the ground. I have an idea of what to do to fix it, but wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem and see how you solved it.

I am new to this site. Now down to business, I have been given a Kawasaki 220, tires are trashed and it has been setting for a long time. Do I need a battery in it to find neutral? I know there is a neutral switch and if I shift down(7 times????)   then up one using the neutral switch I should be in Neutral. As you see I am in a learning curve here ......coments welcome.
