2003 Artic Cat 400 4x4 auto runs but randomly shuts off

ok so its hard to start but will sit there n idle when u hit the gas response fine but it randomly turns off like u turn key off happens alot when u let off gas n starts to idle again the plug sparks like 5 times n then misses a few time then hits 5 or 6 times then misses few times

You might check the Pilot jet and main jet in carb. My sportsman was doind the same thing and the pilot jet was blocked with gunk. Changed the jet and cleaned carb now running great.. Also check air filter...

What makes you think that it is the spark and not a fuel problem? You may just need to turn your idle up a bit. If the machine has been sitting for a bit, then you might want to consider Hondagirl's advise and check the carb, clean it if needed.

it was the flywheel all 6 magnet had come off n the part is on back order

Well, I guess that means it was definately a spark issue then. Hope it comes together for you, let us know how it goes.
