(ANTI VIBE BAR)

Old school

Fill your handlebars with lead shot size 8 or 9. Cap the ends with silicone.

(caution lead is harmful if sucked on or swallowed)

They help to reduce the vibration of the bike that you feel through the handlebars. This reduction in vibration translates into less fatigue and numbness in your arms and hands.

Back in the Day we used to use BB's.....Works good....Thanks for reminding me....

You say that is does work good????? My clutch hand is forever going numb. There has been several times I would have to stop and shake it out while racing.

A Quick Search produced several Methods....Here are a few....

Stop Bad Vibes with Bar Snake! ©2007 Barsnake LLC; All Rights Reserved

you can use great stuff foam insulation in comes in an aresol can and you just spray it into your bars and it expands and hardens and absorbs vibration i use it in my bikes and works great for less than $5 and no added weight you can get it at hardware stores

Go to the local tire shop and get some junk lead tire weights. Stuff some paper in the end of your bars to a depth of about 6-8 inches. Melt the lead in an old kitchen ladel with a propane tourch and pour it in the end of the bars.

Use better Grips,,,, Foam or Gel

If your hands are going numb dont hang on so Hard

I like that expanding aerosol foam idea. We use that stuff at work, and it just so happens that I have some in my garage. I will try it in the bars on my 500R, if it works as well as you say, I may even try filling the entire frame with it.

I have every intention of attending, I have my cabin reservation paid for and the day off work on Friday. My friend with the trailer who is driving us down broke threw his chain and broke his case around the shifting shaft. We are fixing it hopefully today. We are trying this brazing material called HTS-2000 to try and weld the piece back on. There isn't enough room to get a TIG torch in to where the cracks are, so this seems to be our best option. If that doesn't work, we are putting the motor out of my '04 TRX in his quad since I haven't gotten the title for mine yet and can't register it. One way or another, we are going to make it work.

I’m brand new to 4 wheelers and just bought a 1987 Yamaha Moto 4 350. It has good compression and fuel, but no spark. I’ve looked high and low trying to find how to test all the components of the ignition system, but can’t find anything. This has a new CDI box on it, but I suspect it might be the stator. How do I test the stator on this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

i just picked this up. was told ran fine but overheating issues led to replacing head gasket and head. has not ran since. he is not a mechanic but helped someone else who he could not get back to finish job, got aggravated and put up for sale. i was thinking timing issues. i have 110-120psi on all 3 cylinders so i think valves are correct. dont know about distributor yet. however i have no spark. i have no power going to ignition coil. tried to follow white wire but gets lost in wire harness. does anyone have a wiring diagram? can anyone tell me what conditions have to be met before starting. motor turns over so i would think all safeties are met but you never know.

First post here need some help/advice. I bought a 2001 king quad 300, vin number JSAAK43A212111871. I have been trying to do some basic maintenance as it runs but doesn't idle all that well . I want to take out and clean/repair the  carb but when looking for parts it ask for model X Y K1 K2. How do I know which model I have? I have tried some vin decoders but they haven't told me. If anyone could recommend a carb rebuild kit for my quad Id appreciate it. Also any tips on tracking down an owners manual?

I have just recently gotten a yamaha big bear 350 atv and I think the carburetor is a little off on its setting,bc it cuts out at full throttle and it makes a weird pluff kinda sound 3-4 seconds after I hit the kill switch to shut the atv off. I don't know why it's doing that so any help will be greatly appreciated.
