My sons 4 wheeler shuts off and backfires could someone help me with that? and the assembly of the Manual fuel Assemble , aka Fuel Valve on off switch?

Could you be a little more specific? Also please include the year, make, model, and engine size of the machine in question.

The more info you can give the better we can help. As above, make ,modle, year. Also is the engine hot or cold when this happens? Choke on or off?

Most back fires are a spark issue not fuel. I say most, not all. Replace the spark plug first and see what happens.
