Tuning is very important when using a forced induction system. Make sure you start with a rich carb mixture. You will need to increase your jet sizes quite a bit to get the extra fuel you need to go with all the air that the turbo will be cramming into the motor. I would guess that the turbo kit should come with new jets, possibly a bigger carb too. If you don't get enough fuel, that motor will be toast in no time. As far as how it will run with the turbo system properly installed, I think that it will be something like a raped ape with rabies on steroids.

I like to ride in wooded and grassy areas. It takes my mind off the everyday routines and helps me deal with my father's cancer. Also gives me a reason to get involved with forums like this one.

So I’ve got a 2000 Honda 400ex absolutely love it!! I’ve had it for about a month, I ride with bruteforce 750’s, outlander 850’s and 1000 sxs’s and I was thinking of getting a trx450r carb and a full hmf exhaust. And probably doing the air box mod too, how much power would this give my 400? Just a little different or a big difference? Cuz if it’s not much of a different I’ll just stick with my dg slip on..... thanks!

I’m brand new to 4 wheelers and just bought a 1987 Yamaha Moto 4 350. It has good compression and fuel, but no spark. I’ve looked high and low trying to find how to test all the components of the ignition system, but can’t find anything. This has a new CDI box on it, but I suspect it might be the stator. How do I test the stator on this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

i just picked this up. was told ran fine but overheating issues led to replacing head gasket and head. has not ran since. he is not a mechanic but helped someone else who he could not get back to finish job, got aggravated and put up for sale. i was thinking timing issues. i have 110-120psi on all 3 cylinders so i think valves are correct. dont know about distributor yet. however i have no spark. i have no power going to ignition coil. tried to follow white wire but gets lost in wire harness. does anyone have a wiring diagram? can anyone tell me what conditions have to be met before starting. motor turns over so i would think all safeties are met but you never know.

I have just recently gotten a yamaha big bear 350 atv and I think the carburetor is a little off on its setting,bc it cuts out at full throttle and it makes a weird pluff kinda sound 3-4 seconds after I hit the kill switch to shut the atv off. I don't know why it's doing that so any help will be greatly appreciated.
