About 3 monthes ago i bought an 87' TRX250X, an amzing quad, fast and reliable, but it came with a cobra pipe and i dont like the power it gives me, i would like to buy an HMF slip on cause HMF gives great power, and the slip on is all HMF gives for my wheeler, but would the slip on still fit with my head pipe or should i just buy a full big gun exhaust kit, please give me some answers, and i will post pictures of my quad soon. I ice race and sorta do like GNCC racing just racing my friends through the trails and i need a better pipe and a recommened jet, iwas thinking like a 127 jetting

Just out of Curiosity do you have plates on your Cobra??? Any other Aftermarket Parts on that thing related to performance???? I remember that Quad back in the day,,,,I dont remember it being all that fast....

You just cant throw on a pipe and expect things to be all better....There are several things that play a huge roll in performance,,,,,,

Im moving this thread Now.....:laugh::yes::wink::huh:

      I Crashed My Quad
      Well the Way I Ride, some of you knew it was Inevitable.
      Below are Three Videos.
      First one is Slow Motion of How it Happens.
      Second one is Normal Speed, and what happens after the Accident.
      Third one Follows more of what happens after .

      I Was Riding By Myself. I was going through a Mud HOLE Either there was a log or a rock, or A Dip but just as I was almost through it, Machine, Rolled over on my right side, as soon as I contacted the ground, I Heard A SNAP! I got up, flipped the Quad back over. I had the wind knocked out of me.

      5 broken Ribs
      1 Punctured Lung
      1 Broken Collar Bone
      2023 Quad Riding Season is Over for ME!

      Hello All
      I'm kinda new to ATVs. I just bought a 1987 Suzuki quad runner 230 Dual Range. I'm having a problem finding info on it. It's very clean, only 2.800 miles. The front wheels are only 30 in.center to center. I was thinking about adding wheel spacers to give it more stability. I realize the added stress on ball joints and bearings. I'm wondering if there are any other concerns? Any input is greatly appreciated!

      I like to ride in wooded and grassy areas. It takes my mind off the everyday routines and helps me deal with my father's cancer. Also gives me a reason to get involved with forums like this one.

      Hello all! I’m new to the 4 wheeler world, but not new to the mechanic world. I was a diesel mechanic for many years and last year got into jet skis. I just bought a 1987 Yamaha moto 4 350 and now learning the ins and outs of 2 stroke engines. Looking forward to learning all the things.
