This is my Honda TRX 500R aka. the mutt. There are pieces from all kinds of different machines on this thing. The frame is a hame made '86 250R replicala. The rear suspension and brakes are off an '85 ATC 250R. The front end is from a 2000 400ex with Burgard +2 a-arms that have been modified to fit the shocks from a 2008 KFX 450. The steering stem is homemade using the bar clamps off a 1975 Honda XL 350. At the heart of the beast is a 1986 CR 500 motor with a 1987 long-rod crank using a 5mm cylinder spacer custom made by Cometic gasket.

Just picked me up another Honda. It's an '04 TRX 450R. It leaks oil like a sieve and needs some new front tires, but I got it for next to nothing.

Would love to find a steal. Lucky!

Yeah, it was a really good deal, it runs strong and the oil leak was just an improperly installed valve cover gasket. The idiot couln't figure out why it was leaking so much oil, so he just kept tightening the valve cover bolts because he couldn't figure out why it kept leaking, so he sold it to me because he couldn't figure it out. I took it home and when I finally got around to checking it out, it took me 30 seconds to find the leak, you could plainly see that the gasket was not seated properly in the groove.

The Ultra Bee T offers the fastest acceleration of any road-legal electric motorcycle at this price-point, with the flexibility to deal with a wide range of surfaces. With its huge capability the Ultra Bee T will appeal to people looking for a great medium distance commuter, that’s also able to turn its hand to off-road riding and green laning.

I've been using Valvolene 10w 40 ATV oil but, it's like $8.00 a quart. Is that about the going rate? Or is there cheaper alternatives that would be suitable? Thanks

Pulled my '86 Moto4 out of shed where it sat for 20 years. I knew it smoked. checked it over a little put in gas and it fired right up!!
Drove about 100 yards, ran about half throttle wouldn't idle.  Put on somenew parts, jug/piston and rings, carb and valve seals.
'went together ok, tuned it over by hand about 6 revs whick went well. Hit the starter it fired for about 6 revs and quit. tried it again fired once and then th sound of something slipping like maybe chain slipping over spoket.
Took cover off to watch cam sproket, hit starter again, heard same noise and the cam sproket was not turning but jumping a bit. Chain was still tight. You will probably tell me I need to split the lower case but hoping there mightbe something else.
I don't fully understand the chain tightener, the plunger only moves about 1/4 inch, should it move much more than that when off the motor and compressing it by hand?
      Thanks for any thoughts.

Good day, I have an atv 150 raptor with a bemi engine from 2002, at least that's what the label says, the problem is that it doesn't have electricity, I bought it completely new and nothing works except the starter relay, so I'd like to make it my own and with my own hands, I just need you to help us get a diagram because I can't find anything on the internet that would answer my idea, the quad bike has a 4-pin cdi and a 4-pole rectifier and a digital tachometer.
