New to the quad family... Worked a deal where I bought my old neighbors 1989 yamaha moto-4- 100cc 4 stroke engine. A nice quad for my first quad... Anyway I picked it up for

$120 bucks... I then installed a new coil for the $35 bucks or so ... i am into the thing for right around $150 or so... I just can not see paying 2-3-4- grad for one.... I did work a couple deals and added a pocket quad 2 cycle 49 cc for $200 and a sunl 90cc quad that I traded a Nintendo Wii {$250} and pocket bike {I had $50 into it} for the sunl.

opps i also most forgot the HONCHO quad that I have from early 80's that i picked up for $200 that has a 8hp Kolher engine on it...

so for my 4 quads I have $950 into them...

and all of them run... the Honcho needs to be taken more apart and finished restored...

:)

So I am learning on the Moto-4 and eyeing a yamaha raptor ....

More to come...

i am located in MA in East Bridgewater anyone from down in this area?

Looking for places {dare I say it } local to ride....

      I Crashed My Quad
Well the Way I Ride, some of you knew it was Inevitable.
      Below are Three Videos.

Second one is Normal Speed, and what happens after the Accident.
Third one Follows more of what happens after .

I Was Riding By Myself. I was going through a Mud HOLE Either there was a log or a rock, or A Dip but just as I was almost through it, Machine, Rolled over on my right side, as soon as I contacted the ground, I Heard A SNAP! I got up, flipped the Quad back over. I had the wind knocked out of me.

So I decided to pick up a small trailer if I could get one for the right price.  I found this one for a few hundred bucks on Craig’s list.  It is  a galvanized trailer which is exactly what I was looking for. The wood was shot and needed some minor repairs which I could care less about as long as the chassis was good.
I striped it down and put a new deck on. I had some vinyl realtree graphics that I had laying around so I added them to the fenders which I think worked out well. Very happy with this little guy.
I'm having the iron workers at my jobmake me up a few lightweight side rails that will have a 22 degree bend in them to accommodate the tires that slightly hang over the edge and will incorporate some tie down points as well.

      Hello All
I'm kinda new to ATVs. I just bought a 1987 Suzuki quad runner 230 Dual Range. I'm having a problem finding info on it. It's very clean, only 2.800 miles. The front wheels are only 30 in.center to center. I was thinking about adding wheel spacers to give it more stability. I realize the added stress on ball joints and bearings. I'm wondering if there are any other concerns? Any input is greatly appreciated!
