I think all entries should have a link to the area from our trail section.
Private property is kind of hard to do that for. Why don't you go to the suggestion area for contest and suggest a Picture from an ATV park of some sort.I realize it would leave us private property riders out, but hey thats how the cookie crumbles. Edited by BuckBilly

We did it before on contest and no one had a problem. For the people who are riding private property they just state that it is private property. This is a way for people to start using our trail section again. The previous time we did it there was no issue.

My favorite place for a day ride....sadly it's an hour away, the closest riding place to me. And this is sadly my last entry for the next 5 months. I will be deploying to the war zone here in a couple weeks.

Looks like a great place to ride, Joe! :biggrin: An hour isn't that far to go riding!!! Think of all the people who have to travel at least 2 or 3 hours to get somewhere to ride....:yes:

Sorry to hear you're being deployed. But, you gotta do what you gotta do, and we all appreciate you for it!! :yes::yes:

This is one of my favorite places to ride. Rollins Pass East in Colorado! How can you not love this amazing scenery? That's what I like most about this trail is the unbelievable beauty!

Can you see the quads making it up the trail in the distance??? :laugh: They just passed an awesome waterfall! :yes:

My entry is Rabbit Valley, Co. This place is known as Colorado's Moab. Lots of fun fast riding. Something for all skill levels. Ride atop the canyon looking down on the Colorado River or take the twisty trail to ride next to the river bed.

True, I just want to live near a place where I can get on my quad and go instead of having to load up....like where I lived my first 10 years. lived right down the road from Weyerhauser forests. and my dad knows the people who manage it.....let alone he made most of the trails there when he was into hunting. lol THAT's what I dream of....sadly, there's no place like that near a navy base. :(

DrtGrl and I actually have a dream of buying some land and opening up a OHV friendly campground. Make some nice trails, mud holes, maybe a drag strip. A huge bonfire pit for everyone to hangout at during the evening... we have thought long and hard about it!

OMG it would be sooo awesome. We'd have a few cabins for rent, several RV spots and of course plenty of tent spots. Animal friendly, OHV friendly! We'd def put it by some sort of lake too, that way there's more to do than just go ride.

:aargh::aargh::aargh:

I wanna do this SOOOOOOOOOOOOO bad! :aargh::aargh::aargh:

This photo was take a few years back. It's in the Amsterdam, NY area, or outside that area not far from Great Sacandaga Lake. It was private property that led to state lands. The private property belongs to a summer camp that I take part in. They allow me the land use, off camp season.

This is one of my best pics of the first high jump I did. I was riding out at La Grange track, had the time of my life that day.

      Does anyone have a recommendation of a really Heavy Duty ATV cover. I have bought several and they do keep the water off somewhat, but they are very thin and do not contour with the shape very well and water pools up in the rack louvers. I think i may be looking for a heavy canvas one, if anyone has a recommendation it would be greatly appreciated.

      I Was Riding By Myself. I was going through a Mud HOLE Either there was a log or a rock, or A Dip but just as I was almost through it, Machine, Rolled over on my right side, as soon as I contacted the ground, I Heard A SNAP! I got up, flipped the Quad back over. I had the wind knocked out of me.

      So we are almost a month into winter and I've been so busy working on my house that up until today, I didn't realize that we just haven;t gotten any real snow yet to warrant putting the plow on my grizzly. So that got me thinking, what are the latest plows out there and what ATV plows are the best? I've got 2 snow plows for my grizzly, a quadboss pile driver atv plow set up and a snowsport ATV plow. They are both a bit dated now and I tend to stick with the snowsport due to ease of use and I just like it so much. So if you have a plow on your ATV, please let us know what it is and post a picture with your atv/plow would be awesome. Would also like to know what you like and dislike about it.
      This is back a while when I did a write up on these 2 plows.... in 2009 I got the snowsport and in 2012 I got the quadboss.
