i bet it does. next year when i can afford a new 2010 quad, i'll be saying that too :)

i hope honda makes a sick 450 in 2010 with nasty graphics bahha.

I have a friend that works for Honda, in 2007 he told me what changes were going to happen to the CRF450 in 2009. Everything he said was correct. At that same time he told me the TRX450 would have the following in 2010(2011 if they have bugs in the CRF450).

Aluminum Frame

EFI

2 selectable fuel mappings-handle bar mounted

Kayaba shocks(they dropped showa)

New geometry

Now that the other MFGs are making race specific models, don't be surprised to see 2 models, XC and MX.

If they go the same route they did with the CRF, the TRX will be completely different. The only thing that is interchangeable from the 08 CRF450 to the 09 CRF450 is the brakes.

When I say new geometry I mean they will move the motor slightly down and forward, which will lower the center of gravity and bring it more over the front of the seat rather than the pegs.(results in even better cornering than honda has now). That with about an 18mm longer swingarm.

I hope they fix the rear shock issue. The TRX bucks like it's in a rodeo. The shock is at too much of an angle, it needs to be more vertical.

sounds cool, has anyone read the newest dirtwheels with the 09 buyers guide?

two things stood out,

they said the KFX450R was the fastest and best handleing quad in 2009

and they claim the AC prowler XTZ 1000 did 75!!

thats crazy.

i dont have a subscription..i bought two of them today at walmart, well my sister bought em for me, they had a shootout with the yamaha wolverine 450, the polaris scrambler 500, and the renegade 500. it was about the most non biased shootout ive ever read. they called it a tie, they said all machines needed some updates. wolys motor is weak, the scrammys suspension is decent, and the renegade, all it had on the others was power.

good article.

I ordered an ATV through ElectriRide a ( Pioneer 1500w Power E-Grizzly Electric ATV ), on February 13, 2024.  They ( ElectriRide ), ordered it from the manufacture on February 28, 2024. Not sure when it shipped, but it arrive here at my house on June 25, 2024.  I live in Hawaii.
Unpacking it, I quickly became aware that this was not the ATV that I ordered.  The package had some damaged, but not major.  After unpacking it, it was very obvious that this was not the ATV that I had ordered, plus it was missing some a number of parts, namely the rear rack & no instruction or electrical circuit layout, just to name a few.  A couple of days later I found ( 2 ) small two burnt holes in the upper frame, right side, also.  Several days later I tried to charge the batteries on the ATV, after plugging it in for over 4  hours, “NO CHARGE” , I checked the charger’s output voltage, it read “ “ 0 “ volts, the charger needs to be replaced also.
The next day, I reported all of this to ElectriRide, & they asked for photos, which I later that day send to them.  They said they would look into it and get back to me. For the last 2 1/2 weeks, I have been calling them (playing phone tag ) & emailing them, basically getting the same message back from them.  They sent me e-mails “ we will get back to you “ or “ Please rest assured that we are committed to resolving this matter to your satisfaction. “.  As of today, that message was 10 day ago, and it’s been 3 weeks after receiving the wrong ATV.  And 5 months from the time of ordering the ATV.
The ATV that this looks the most similar/closest to the one that I received is the ( Pioneer 48v 1000w Adult ATV Electric ) in their catalog, but there are a number of differences to it also.  ( Mostly it’s a 1000 watts motor, not a 1500 watts motor ATV, plus a number of other things also ).  The suspension & wheels are completely different, along with some of the electrical components, and it was missing the rear rack also.  Along with some other minor things.
I seem to be getting nowhere with communicating with them, (ElectriRide ) in getting this mix-up / changes resolved after calling / emailing them pretty much daily for over 3+ weeks, I am turning to you, the ATV community for any suggestions for helping me to solve my problem.
Please leave any suggestion / ideas, you thing might help me solve this problem, or who to contact that might be able to help..

I'm new to the mechanics of riding. I've ridden quads and love it, but I've never really owned one of my own. I bought this quad in pretty rough shape and have been slowly restoring it. I'm almost ready to kick it over, but I'm doing a little research before i add fluids. I'm wondering what kind of oil i should use. I know the specs call for 10w40, but with the age and brand of my quad I'm curious to hear an experienced opinion. And since I'm just getting started with this forum, I don't have access to the service manuals yet. Any and all advice is welcome and appreciated! Thanks and happy riding!

Was told there was some good information on this forum, so I'm here engaging in some good ole conversation haha. Bought a buggy aka shitcart for 100 dollars. Thing was a woods toy for the past owner. Used and abused until she went boom and was left in a field to die. All things considered that may be an exageration, but the top end of the warrior 350 that was on board was absolutely mangled. Piston and head assembly were totaled. Have a new jug, piston, and head assembly, but struggling to get the crankcase back together without the transmission binding. Can share pics that are on my phone if anyone is interested in seeing this shitty story unfold.

Didn't use a ring clamp cause I never needed one with my Hondas but the skirt has a weird shape on the 96 KQ300, anyways I hand cranked it twice and that was enuff I guess, I had to send it back in again. Another 200 down the drain, thought I'd share.
