Just checking a few ATV forums and this one seems to be among the most active. Anyone in the North GA, North AL, or general Chattanooga, TN and wanting to 4-wheel, let me know. My son-in-law and I are looking for good trails in the area and always open to good, honest company.

I've done parts of Prentice Cooper a few times and its certainly got plenty of room! In fact, if I'll be doing some 4wheeling this weekend (Saturday) with my son-in-law. If anyone would like to join us.....give a yell !

Thanks for the reply. Do you happen to have a map of PC? I know there's one online but it doesn't really give good detail of all the roads. We did go up there on Saturday and will probably be going back in the near future. What type of trails do you normally ride? We looked for ATV trails in PC but really only saw Jeep trails. We rain across a couple of good spots with some challenge. One thing I'm looking at now is some easy trails for my wife to get accustomed to the ATV.

No i dont have the good PC map.

I can get one soon as i see a ranger though.

Yeah most of the trails i have found are jeep trails but there is a place very close my PC that has some radical stuff is down three knotch road.

The best riding is proably over in sequatchie valley in several huge coves.

The through trip on coppinger is famous. Its can be done with hard core 4 by 4 trucks though.

Still there is alot of challenging stuff in there.Im really stoked to ride it.

It appears that my gas gauge does not work , i rode about 4 hours and there was no difference on the gauge.

I was letting it idle befor i loaded it up and it cut off and would not crank , i turned to reserve and it cranked immediatly.

I dunno ?

But im ready to ride whenever.

If you get that map I'm sure a lot of use would love a pdf copy!

What's the trails in sequatchie? You have any names or directions handy?

Yep, sounds like a broke gas gauge....at least that should be easy to fix.

I'm thinking that I'll be going 4wheeling perhaps the weekend after this one. Want me to keep ya posted?

I will let you know clarkgriswold.

BB I have been to Windrock "Coal Creek" it is awesome. I can't wait to go back there too. We are talking about planning a few quad related trips next year. I know that will be one of them.

Have you ever been to WindRock , I think thats what it is called?

Nope, I've never been there but my son-in-law has and he says it's fantastic. I've never really heard anything bad about it. It's on my list for this spring/summer.

powermaddd400ex it has been about 2 years since I was up there. I didn't have any problem though. I just wish I had had more time.

Wheeler I don't guess we took any pix. I don't know why. Maybe we can get up there this year.

Hey Powermadd.... We're thinking of going to aetna mountain this month. Maybe this next weekend or so. Can you tell me where is a good place to park and enter? How much do you know about the area? I'll have to check on the houston valley thing....is it good?

So we are almost a month into winter and I've been so busy working on my house that up until today, I didn't realize that we just haven;t gotten any real snow yet to warrant putting the plow on my grizzly. So that got me thinking, what are the latest plows out there and what ATV plows are the best? I've got 2 snow plows for my grizzly, a quadboss pile driver atv plow set up and a snowsport ATV plow. They are both a bit dated now and I tend to stick with the snowsport due to ease of use and I just like it so much. So if you have a plow on your ATV, please let us know what it is and post a picture with your atv/plow would be awesome. Would also like to know what you like and dislike about it.
This is back a while when I did a write up on these 2 plows.... in 2009 I got the snowsport and in 2012 I got the quadboss.

I have a Sportsman 450 HO and almost killed my self when loading it on my truck with ramps.  It rolled off the top of the ramps and tailgate and nearly landed on me.  I now want to winch the ATV in to the truck.  My question is are the front side bed tiedowns in my 2011 RAM strong enough to winch to without distorting the hooks or sides of the bed?

      Hello All
I'm kinda new to ATVs. I just bought a 1987 Suzuki quad runner 230 Dual Range. I'm having a problem finding info on it. It's very clean, only 2.800 miles. The front wheels are only 30 in.center to center. I was thinking about adding wheel spacers to give it more stability. I realize the added stress on ball joints and bearings. I'm wondering if there are any other concerns? Any input is greatly appreciated!
