We're off to a good start. The focus of this contest is to spread the word and raise awareness about QUADCRAZY. It's REAL easy to take part in this contest.

I'm going to list some more ways for you to take part in the contest and possibly win! Using our built in INVITE system is the easiest. Just enter some e-mails or log into your e-mail program to pull some off your address book. You'll actually see if someone is registered before you send it, our system will inform you first.

1. Placing your Referral Link on other sites! Using this method, your link is working for you ALL the time. Put it up once, and that's it. The example below is pretty simple and you can change the text. (Make sure you change "member" to yours!)

Come Join Me At QUADCRAZY!

<a href="http://www.quadcrazy.com/signup/friend_member/">Come Join Me At
QUADCRAZY!</a>

That was a text version of an HTML link, that you can enter on MySpace and other sites. Maybe you want to add a banner from our banner page or use a different graphic. (Make sure you change "member" to yours!)

234X60.gif

<a href="http://www.quadcrazy.com/signup/friend_member/">
<img border="0" src="http://quadcrazy.com/banner/234X60.gif" width="234" height="60">

Now, you can change the link, text , or image in the code to anything that you want.

Maybe you want to add a link in your signature or in other forums? Most forums use BB (Bulletin Board) code. Here is a converter from HTML. (Make sure you change "member" to yours!)

Still using the text link on top as an example:

Come Join Me At QUADCRAZY!

Come Join Me At
QUADCRAZY!

These are just a few examples. If you want to post a link or tailor a link, please post it here, and we'll help you with the code. Or shoot us a message.

(Remember, if you post a link today or send and invite today, that person may sign up today. tomorrow, in a week, or in a month. It'll still count for the month that they sign up!)

Let's go SLACKERS!!!! I'm on top with INVITES!!!

To let you know what I did, so you can maybe do the same...I found a site with atv clubs listed in my area, that have e-mails on the site. I copied and pasted into the invite section and invited them all.

I'm not going to tell you what site I went to, so you don't double invite my invites..LOL, just do a Google search for atv clubs and look around online. Grab e-mails you see. :google:

It's just a shared idea for you, there a thousands and thousands of e-mails associated with atv sites and forums.

All I know is that, I'M ON TOP! :sifonec:

I think AJM is cheating.....doubling up his invites. lol who really has 167 DIFFERENT people online.

and I'd be able to get a lot more if we were able to tap into my myspace friends list.

No he's actually not cheating. There are no duplicates in our system. But, what would be the point of dupicate invite entries? There is no prize for that.

Anyway, it's referrals that win the grand prize, not invites. Invites can lead to referrals.

Why don't you PM him and ask him how he's doing it....

Remember, the more INVITES, the more chances for REFERRALS.

Now for myspace, I can suggest you just PM your referral link to all your friends. That's the easiest I would think. Good Luck!

Do it! He is going on to ATV clubs and sending mass emails and stuff. Whatever it takes, get the invites out. You don't have to know the people you send them to.

Bot is right. That's pretty much what I did. There are thousand's of emails out there.

Here's some tips:

E-mail Inviting tips: (Like Bot said, you don't have to know the people)

1. Search out "atv clubs" in your state or other states, then go to the websites and find the contact page or member page, copy & paste the e-mails.

2. Visit other atv forums and check out the member list page, you should be able to find e-mails of those who do not keep them private.

The more e-mails, the more chances of referrals coming in.

Referral Link tip:

1. Use YOUR referral link on other sites, forums you belong to, in forum signatures, in this forum signature, mySpace, Facebook, etc. (It'll just sit there and work for you without doing anything, through every month)

The more links you have out there, the more chances you have.

Ok I just did a couple of cold invites... on another forum I am a member of that has some quad riders... I don't know if they will actually sign up here, but I am trying. It won't show up in my invites, since I sent PMs to them since the menber lists don't show email addys unless the person says ok.

I would go through the e-mail member list and grab those that do show and I would put your referral link in your signature there, although I'm assuming you spend most of your time here being a mod and all...:cute: LOL...

But, yeah...sending your link out will generate referalls and if you place you link in sigs, other sites, it works for you there without doing anything. Put it in blogs, e-mail signatures, social networking sites, etc...

I sent out a bunch of invites and have more I can do, but will wait until next month or someone here to catch up in referrals to make it interesting...

That's a great idea. You guys always are finding something new to do! Great Job

My only problem is the people who know me in person don't really like me!

Bot, you got 2 referrals already..! looks like that referral link in your sig, on that other site, is working for you.. I saw the smartness there... while browsing around online.

quadmaniac, you are to close to me in this comp...LOL.. I may need to get back at it.

I'm not sure which way they were referred. I sent out a few emails and posted the link in my sig.

Emails on your own with the link or through the invite section at this site? Shows you have 2 e-mail invites from the site, but obviously won't count what you did outside the site. The nice thing about the sig is that it works all the time without you doing anything. Any link like that may pick up referrals in any month.

Everyone that goes on other sites should put their referral link in their signature, it's a no brainer. Easy.

I need to do some of that also...

DAMN! We're STILL tied!!!! No one else really coming close AJMBOY..

I'm going to go and have to find some more...

Who wins in a tie?

You are currently winning. In the event of a tie, the next referral in any future month, will decide the winner.

UPDATE:

The sticker count is now 5 for anyone who makes the lists! We will pm all those on the lists, for their mailing addresses.

A few days left for September!

Congratulations to quadmaniac, for winning the September Refer A Friend Contest! quadmaniac will enjoy a subscription to 3 magazines!

Congratulations to everyone that made it on the lists, you are eligible to receive stickers!

October has begun today, so has the October Refer A Friend Contest!

Good Luck!

Well October is on, I just sent some invites with e-mails I got from another forum member list.

I also posted my link on Yahoo Groups.

LET'S GET SOME COMPETITION GOING HERE....I didn't see everyone here last month getting in on it.

Just curious, what are the reasons. I find that only myself and a few others go after this competition. Maybe it's the prizes?

Yes I want to win, but I feel that this is a good way to spread the word and support this community we all belong to. SO GET YOUR BUTTS OUT THERE AND LET'S SEE A COMPETITION! It's not fun when only a few are participating.

The easiest way is to just post your referral link in all those other sites you belong to. Also pull e-mail addresses from other site's member lists and enter them. Also post on MySpace Facebook, and all those other networks.

I just want to see some competing numbers here...

Hi everyone i am coming from Europe and looking forward to join this community. I'm currently riding Kymco mxu300r which is the same bike as Brute Force 300 just different plastics.
Recently i came to a problem with this atv when accelerating near full throttle it suddenly lost power like i quickly released throttle but i kept throttle lever in the same spot. Since then it pulls off fine until you are past first 1/4 of throttle and then starts stuttering/misfiring. Same behavior when revving in neutral or riding. Cleaned and gapped spark plug but no better.
Could this sudden symptoms be from bad ignition coil and cdi or dirty carb? Carb was never cleaned before but i used stabil in gas when atv was not in use. Atv has 1000 miles carb on it is Keihin cvk32.
Sorry for longer post and thank you in advance.

Hi, I have been around everything with a motor since I was little, and finally purchased more to get my husband, and kids involved. I have 4 quads I will be searching around for information on. I have two 2002 Suzuki LT80K quads, a 1997 Yamaha Timberwolf 250, and a 1996 Kawasaki Bayou 220. I have had different ones throughout the years, and plan on buying another Yamaha Banshee. I plan on trying to learn more about all of them, so I can customize some of them. I know nothing about them besides how to race them, my dad always took care of the rest, but figured it was time for me to learn.
