Not sure on this one , generally when i get one im not sure about i measure it in mm and order one to fit, thread pitch is usually 1.0 but i found that you can order a whole set for just a little more than one would cost, if you do a lot of this.

Can-Ams are fairly rare in my area and i have never worked on one, and i have never seen a 250 at all. We dont know all the answers but just wanted to let you know someone is listening. I did a couple of searches and came up with the same part # that you already had, nowhere did i find the size just part #. So you did good to find the size.

No, I was being honest as I thought it strange that no one could answer a tool question. It wasn't a "It's making this strange noise" type of question. Didn't mean to hurt anyone feelings

Years ago I ran into the same trouble on a Skidoo snowmobile that needed a tool. No one could give me the size then either. So I sold the Skidoo and never bought another one.

No hurt feelings here either..  I find it strange they Russ'd think it was pathetic.. Strange word to use. Ignorant perhaps, or lazy(since we didn't do the homework for him), or disinterested.. Fair enough.. But pathetic..haha.. No !

Seems a tool would have the tool answer. But no, not in my time for sure. You seem to have the words but no answers.

No Russ, I've never even seen one of those bikes, I don't have the answer you needed but I know flywheel pullers get made and sold by lots of people. You think it's pathetic I/we didn't know or look it up for you, but I think it's pathetic that you came in here expecting it to be handed to you on a plate, and fast pronto too thank you, but then after doing the proper thing and searching for yourself, you came in to slag us off..  That's a pathetic attitude buddy..

Dude, You are butthurt because you didn't have the answer and then chose to turn on me. I give 2 sh*** what you think and you are the only one who took the passing comment that way. You are not worth my time, so stay away from my post. I have knowledge that can help others in this group so quit harassing. You state you have never seen one of those bikes so you should have scrolled on. Have a nice day and there's no need to respond.

My 2000 big bear 400 4x4 has 26x10x12 tires in front and 26x12x12 in the rears. Trying to find replacement tires those sizes are hard to find, or, when i do, they cost a lot more than i want to spend.
But, there's a lot of 25" tires out there the same size, just 25" and not 26". If i got the 25" it should not make a difference....right?

I generally use Non Ethynol fuel in all my small engines. I just got back from the gas station and that fuel has really increased in price since last year, I will continue to use it, even though its north of 1.00 a gallon more. That seems minor compared to cleaning and repairing carbs every year.
I was just curious as to what others are doing in regard to gas in their quads, i know a lot of the newer ones are fuel injected which shouldnt pose a problem, but i have had lots of problems with rust and jell forming in carbs when using ethynol fuel.

I am in the process of puting it back together after replacing the DPS gearbox.
The manual I have states that it will need to be flashed by a dealer. Is this still true?
Also , I have a mystery bolt That I cannot remember where it goes. M6x 70 or so.  Hex head with a flat washer.I will try to attach a pic.
Pic is no go for now....Cox issue I will try again later
      TIA
