2005 750 Kawasaki Brute Force...oil started sptting out near my airbox. I've never had problems with my Brute Force until today. It is running fine. After the oil began to spit out, I let it cool and checked the oil level which was fine. Looks like it's coming out of a hose that goes from my crankcase to the airbox.....any suggestions ???

Do you ride wheelies alot? If so the is the reason when you get those motors on an angle the oil will start to go up the crankcase hose on its on and as you continue on and you give it more gas as you know the airbox is sucking air from the get go so it makes it that much easier to get to suck it into the airbox. Hope this helps.... oh also you can take the hose extend it to the handle bars and go to autozone and buy a $5 filter and put it on the end and elimanate the problem over all.

This is usually the result of overfilling it with oil just like Stoopidbot1 suggested.

Did you check the oil when it had been sitting cold or after it had run for awhile?

Thanks for comments...I did check the oil before this happened and it was actually a little below the full line. After the incident, I waited until it cooled and it checked about the same.

Also, I was riding wheelies on it a few hours before the oil spit out...but when it happened I had driven about 3 miles at 25mph on flat surfaces.

I'm trying to help a buddy out with his bike (he's not really on the internet or familiar with these forums) and I'll admit that I am not super familiar with the transmission and clutches in these bikes. I owned a Brute a few years ago, but never had an issue like this that I had to troubleshoot.
So basically my buddy bought a group lot of 650's to build one good bike out of. He got it all put together and has it running but when he pushes on the throttle the clutch doesn't engage till the RPM's are quite high and even when its moving it doesn't really speed up, almost seems like its in "limp mode". He's tried 2 different transmissions so I don't think that's the problem.
Is there any adjustment on the clutch engagement? Anything else I can tell him to look at? Let me know if you need anymore information if you think you can help.

1st problem, Does anyone know where I can find a stock carb for my Timberwolf, I have tried two different aftermarket carbs and they both suck. The machine runs great until it gets good and warm, then it keeps stalling unless I feather the throttle. it will even stall while I'm trying to go from 1st to reverse or vise versa. I took it to a buddy of mine who is a bike mechanic for years, and he told me try to find a factory carb. When I look online from dealers it says "NOT AVAILABLE" anyone have any suggestions ?

2nd, The small tab on the rear axle for towing is to short for even pulling my small yard trailer, I can't even turn a little bit and hit hits. I tried making an extension which worked great as far as length, but it bends the tab and then the extension drags the ground. I have an idea of what to do to fix it, but wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem and see how you solved it.
