You are kinda going big on your tires. You will lose power with a 22" rear. You should really look at a 20" tire for the rear. And you want your fronts taller than your rear for racing. Stick with the 21" front but look at a 20" rear. Much better combo.

I personally would. That means 6 layers of rubber something has to go through to pop your tire. The thinner you go the more likely of a pop. I ran my stock 2 ply until they were bald with no pops. But it is alot more likely to happen on a thinner tire.

get a new filter. and maybe think about some air box vents.

10$ and they will open up your airbox for even more flow.

more air. more power.

I know how sweet the douglas rims are but you can save alot of money by choosing another rim. I personally think black rims are way better looking than a shiny rim. Makes the bottom end look much more stout. Look at some ITP rims.

I’m brand new to 4 wheelers and just bought a 1987 Yamaha Moto 4 350. It has good compression and fuel, but no spark. I’ve looked high and low trying to find how to test all the components of the ignition system, but can’t find anything. This has a new CDI box on it, but I suspect it might be the stator. How do I test the stator on this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

i just picked this up. was told ran fine but overheating issues led to replacing head gasket and head. has not ran since. he is not a mechanic but helped someone else who he could not get back to finish job, got aggravated and put up for sale. i was thinking timing issues. i have 110-120psi on all 3 cylinders so i think valves are correct. dont know about distributor yet. however i have no spark. i have no power going to ignition coil. tried to follow white wire but gets lost in wire harness. does anyone have a wiring diagram? can anyone tell me what conditions have to be met before starting. motor turns over so i would think all safeties are met but you never know.

Hello all! I’m new to the 4 wheeler world, but not new to the mechanic world. I was a diesel mechanic for many years and last year got into jet skis. I just bought a 1987 Yamaha moto 4 350 and now learning the ins and outs of 2 stroke engines. Looking forward to learning all the things.

I have just recently gotten a yamaha big bear 350 atv and I think the carburetor is a little off on its setting,bc it cuts out at full throttle and it makes a weird pluff kinda sound 3-4 seconds after I hit the kill switch to shut the atv off. I don't know why it's doing that so any help will be greatly appreciated.
