Does anybody else carry insurance on their ATV?

Progressive is the way to go if you're looking.

I just got liability/comp/collision with a $100 deductible, $1000 trailer coverage, $3000 accessory coverage, and uninsured motorist for $250/year on my 08 AC 400.

good thinkin bot, there was another discussion about insurance in a previous forum....we don't have it, mainly because we race our quads and if you race them insurance barely covers anything.....

my advice would be:

read and know the policy you're getting and make sure its suitable for the kind of riding you do before you get it!!

I looked at a couple big names like progressive and called my local agent. It was cheaper going with the big names. Do you need insurance if all you want to protect it while at your home inside the garage? I need to find out if my homeowners insurance covers theft. I found quotes as cheap as $60 a year.

Most likely your homeowners will cover theft, vandalism, etc while on your property.

i think anywhere here in canada you must be insured, legally. if you drive on your own property, no. in ontario i had an acreage and great neighbors who also quadded so it was perfect. about 400 acres total between us. i also bought a trail pass, so i had to be insured and plated. money grab yes i know... ontario insurance was high, better rate if you have 500cc and under, just about double 500cc up. needless to say you saw alot of unders around.

So we are almost a month into winter and I've been so busy working on my house that up until today, I didn't realize that we just haven;t gotten any real snow yet to warrant putting the plow on my grizzly. So that got me thinking, what are the latest plows out there and what ATV plows are the best? I've got 2 snow plows for my grizzly, a quadboss pile driver atv plow set up and a snowsport ATV plow. They are both a bit dated now and I tend to stick with the snowsport due to ease of use and I just like it so much. So if you have a plow on your ATV, please let us know what it is and post a picture with your atv/plow would be awesome. Would also like to know what you like and dislike about it.
This is back a while when I did a write up on these 2 plows.... in 2009 I got the snowsport and in 2012 I got the quadboss.

I have a Sportsman 450 HO and almost killed my self when loading it on my truck with ramps.  It rolled off the top of the ramps and tailgate and nearly landed on me.  I now want to winch the ATV in to the truck.  My question is are the front side bed tiedowns in my 2011 RAM strong enough to winch to without distorting the hooks or sides of the bed?

So I decided to pick up a small trailer if I could get one for the right price.  I found this one for a few hundred bucks on Craig’s list.  It is  a galvanized trailer which is exactly what I was looking for. The wood was shot and needed some minor repairs which I could care less about as long as the chassis was good.
I striped it down and put a new deck on. I had some vinyl realtree graphics that I had laying around so I added them to the fenders which I think worked out well. Very happy with this little guy.
I'm having the iron workers at my jobmake me up a few lightweight side rails that will have a 22 degree bend in them to accommodate the tires that slightly hang over the edge and will incorporate some tie down points as well.
