We've been looking at full blown toy haulers but for now my little 12' flatbed does the trick. I like it because it's for hauling alot of different stuff, lawn mowers, lumber, etc.

we got the 1500 and it doesnt have the beefy shocks like the 2500..hopefully next month wen we trade it in we can get the 2500 power wagon

I had an '04 1500 4x4 and although it was a decent truck it didn't hold a candle to this one. I had horrible issues with the rearend on the '04. I was sad to see it go because I think it was a better looking truck than my new one. The Power Wagons are cool I think you'll like it.

Anyway here's a shot of my old one.

I haul mine with an 03 F-350 7.3 4 door lariet. I have a 69 Bronco on 42" Swampers that I play with too. I needed something that wouldn't have an issue towing the Bronco. It doesn't even feel a trailer full of quads behind it lol

I usually just lower the air bags in the back and load it up with ramps. It is a 2007 Chevy 2500HD Duramax with Allison Transmission. Dana 60 straight axle conversion, Kelderman Air Ride 6 to 16 inch lift. 40 inch Toyo Open Country Mud Terrains with 22 inch xD Rockstar wheels. Don't have pics of the quad but its a 2004 YFZ 450 Special Edition with a HMF Exhaust, Jet Kit, and Intake.

It's apart at the moment to change the axles and suspension set up. It is sitting on Dana 60s, 6 inches of lift with a lot of trimming. 302 that just died on me, NP 435. 5.89 gears, 42" Swampers and Hummer Beadlocks

They are a bit big for what I need but they'll do. After looking at that pic I realize how much work I still need to do on it lol

I went through school for welding, brother is a machinist and close buddy does sheet metal work. Should be good to go as soon as I get time

Not sure how I killed the 302. I noticed it running rough on the even cylinder side. I checked compression and all but the #2 cylinder were good. #2 didn't make the needle on the gauge move. All valves are actuating fine. I think I got a hole in a piston somehow. It's an odd break. Still trying to find a scope to have a look inside. Sad part is that it runs great other than that. It hold 45 psi on oil pressure at an idle and never gets hot. I just don't want to risk more damage so, I'm finding out what's wrong before I run it again. Ok, hate to do this but I'll have to quit the thread hi-jack now. I'll start another thread about other offroad toys

The picture of the 69 Bronco makes me miss my 68 Bronco.. My Bronco was all stock, even had the corny looking hub caps, three on the tree (column shifter)..

But one day up in the mountains my Bronco decided it wanted to roll down the hill and over a 100 or so foot drop.. Hey I had to go real bad.. I guess I forgot to do something before leaving the truck...

Sad day that was..

Have just been putting mine in the truck, but makes loading for camping trips and such super tight. Hoping to get a small trailer this summer. The "why" is because I don't have anything else. lol

What a great retro looking jeep! I'd hate to take it out and get it scratched up.

Thanks,,,,Its an 86 CJ7...Last yr of the REAL Jeeps.....Been Driving it to work all week trying to BOND with it....LOL!!!! Definitely NOT a Commute Vehicle,,,,4:10 Gears, Dana 30 up front Dana 40 in the Rear...Lockers and Posi...3in. Rancho lift and Rancho Suspension 33's....4.2 5sp....Also,,,,The Carb was taken off and a Factory installed Fuel Injection was added.....That right there makes it PURRRRRR!!!! The only reason Im Commuting with it is to get rid of the old Fuel....Full Tank has been in there for MONTHS:aargh:.....Seems to be runnin alright though.....

Heres my story. Kinda long. I guess I was a late bloomer when it comes to quads. I had never ridden a quad in my life. Rode Dirt Bikes as a kid growing up. Back in Oct of '06 I found a Mustang on craigslist. Took it for a test drive one morning before work. Fast car. 351 Cleveland. I had planned on meeting the guy again after work. For some strange reason thats still to this day beyond me, I stopped in Hillsboro MotoSports on the way home from work. I had 6 Grand on me. There was a left over '05 sitting by the front door. It was on sale for $4999. It was $5499 OTD. I didnt even look at anything else. I knew nothing about quads accept I thought it really looked coool and I had the money in my pocket to buy it. I was sitting on it when the salesman walked up and asked... "Can I help you?" Without hestitation I pulled 60 Ben Franklins outta my front pocket and said "I want this Quad. Load it up in my truck." It was just about dark by the time I drove away from the shop. BTW, I didnt bother to ask my ol lady if I could buy it. LOL. Anyway, I took it by the house and showed her. She was kinda stunned but not mad. We drove over to a friend of mines house and unloaded it. I took it to the field across the street from his house. HOLY CHIT!!!!! I was surprised by the power. I had it for about 2 weeks and took it to Sand Lake. I was there a few hours and rolled it on a banked turn at the top of the bowl right before you get to the one-ways. When it rolled, I flew off and landed on my belly. The quad came bouncing and landed on my back. For a month I couldnt even walk. I was scared of it. I considered trading it for a 250EX. Went back to the shop. The salesman said..."Dude!!! You dont want a 250EX!!! Trust me. Just get used to it" I still wasnt convinced. I put it on craigslist for $4000. Calls were coming in. I had a guy that wanted to come look at it that evening. I decided to take it for one last ride at Browns Camp before I sold it. I was still afraid of it. After about 5 minutes I started feeling comfortable on it again. I decided right then, I loved my Honda 450 and would learn how to ride it instead of selling it. That was late Nov of '06. Work was slow for a Painter in Oregon. My new job everyday? Going to Browns Camp and ridding my Quad. I bought my Girl Friend an '02 Blaster. I rode my 450 for 4-6 hours almost every single day for 3 months. And yes, I know my way around Browns Camp pretty well. LOL. In March I bought her an '06 TRX250EX (Thank God I didnt trade my 450 for one of those) LOL Since then, I have become totally addicted to quads. I love them. Couldnt imagine not owning at least one quad. Luckily I have two. My "07 was $6500 OTD in July of '07. Bought it for my Girlfriend. Traded in her 250 EX. A month later we broke up. So, I wound up with two Honda 450's.

I have a Sportsman 450 HO and almost killed my self when loading it on my truck with ramps.  It rolled off the top of the ramps and tailgate and nearly landed on me.  I now want to winch the ATV in to the truck.  My question is are the front side bed tiedowns in my 2011 RAM strong enough to winch to without distorting the hooks or sides of the bed?

I like to ride in wooded and grassy areas. It takes my mind off the everyday routines and helps me deal with my father's cancer. Also gives me a reason to get involved with forums like this one.

I am new to this site. Now down to business, I have been given a Kawasaki 220, tires are trashed and it has been setting for a long time. Do I need a battery in it to find neutral? I know there is a neutral switch and if I shift down(7 times????)   then up one using the neutral switch I should be in Neutral. As you see I am in a learning curve here ......coments welcome.
