1990 polaris trailboss 250 help

I have a 1990 Trailboss 250 2 stroke 4x4 thats giving me a headache.  It has great spark , seems to get fuel, but wont start. it turns over, tries firing sometimes, but just wont get going. I had it going once giving it some throttle, about half throttle, but died out. seems like its starving for fuel, but the plug gets wet and fuel comes out of the opening for the air cleaner. i'm really stumped . if it has spark and getting fuel, it should run. I did rebuild the carb also.  Any suggestions ?

I just bought almost the same atv! Roughly same issue and found that the crank bearings are gone! Probably not sealing and then doesn’t draw in the fuel!

oh I hope thats not the case here. lol either that or my sons going to learn how to rebuild the motor. lol. did you take the motor apart to determine that ? thank you

Sounds like a carb issue. I would bite the bullet and spend $25 on a new carb. It seems to be too rich. You can try turning that carb screw in a 1/4 at a time.

I tried finding a carb., i cant find a 2 stroke carb anywhere for this polaris. i can find 4 stroke carbs all day long. i bought a rebuild kit, i'll see how that goes. thank you
