Hi to everyone!
I have problem with my 2012 KQ 750 axi
So the problem is that everytime when go to the L gear 4wd, atv starts to sputter, like seen on this video

This problem does not happen when in H gear 4wd or 2wd
So, tried the same eliminate the 15-th pin (red-green wire) and…it did, works only when atv is riding on dry conditions.
Took the pin out of the socket, did not cut it.
Today went to drive in swamp and when i used L or R gear it sputters and the only way to drive is to use override button.
So, i`m pretty sure that the problem is moisture/water but where is the specific wire or connection?!?! Some guys have told that voltage regulator near gas tank might be the problem, some have said that buy a new sparkplug wire and so on…
Has anybody ideas where to start looking?
Thanks for thinking with me!

Yes it is, but my problem is not rev limiter but sputtering, like it's not getting fuel or something. But i'm pretty sure as i sayd before problem lays somewhere in electrcity system, moisture/water is making this sputtering happen.

Did you ever find a solution to this problem as my machine is doing the same thing? The only difference I'm having that you didn't list, is when the problem starts, it doesn't indicate it's in low range on the guage cluster.

Hi.

Yup, found a solution.

My Suzuki is 2012 KQ 750 axi. So with help from a friend who knows these machines better than his own five fingers, we had a chat and told me to change gear lever position sensor.
So, went to this site https://www.partzilla.com/catalog/suzuki/atv/2012/kingquad-lt-a750xpzl2/gear-shifting and picked the right year and engine and under gear shifting ordered new OEM part number 29 and that fixed the problem.

Also, had the same problem that when in L gear it did not show in the gauge cluster.
One thing what i noticed is that the problem occured only after when engine had reached it`s working temperature and fan had kicked on for atleast once. Before that, everything worked fine.

Now it has been over a year after changing the position sensor and everything works like a charm!

Sensor is located on the right side of engine, between exhaust and engine, outside.

Attached picture below, red circle shows the location.

For changing, loosen or take off exhaust, otherwise you have very minimal and tight space. It is dooable without looseing the exhaust, but belive me its very challenging.

All the best and let me know if it worked for you!

Martin

Does anyone have a recommendation of a really Heavy Duty ATV cover. I have bought several and they do keep the water off somewhat, but they are very thin and do not contour with the shape very well and water pools up in the rack louvers. I think i may be looking for a heavy canvas one, if anyone has a recommendation it would be greatly appreciated.

So we are almost a month into winter and I've been so busy working on my house that up until today, I didn't realize that we just haven;t gotten any real snow yet to warrant putting the plow on my grizzly. So that got me thinking, what are the latest plows out there and what ATV plows are the best? I've got 2 snow plows for my grizzly, a quadboss pile driver atv plow set up and a snowsport ATV plow. They are both a bit dated now and I tend to stick with the snowsport due to ease of use and I just like it so much. So if you have a plow on your ATV, please let us know what it is and post a picture with your atv/plow would be awesome. Would also like to know what you like and dislike about it.
This is back a while when I did a write up on these 2 plows.... in 2009 I got the snowsport and in 2012 I got the quadboss.

I have a Sportsman 450 HO and almost killed my self when loading it on my truck with ramps.  It rolled off the top of the ramps and tailgate and nearly landed on me.  I now want to winch the ATV in to the truck.  My question is are the front side bed tiedowns in my 2011 RAM strong enough to winch to without distorting the hooks or sides of the bed?
