I've noticed that the tag isn't embedding images within a post; rather it hyper-links it.

This may have been mentioned/covered but, I've not been on the site for a while.....

I'm using Firefox 2.0. I've also tried with IE 6.

Anyone else not seeing embedded images?

Thx...

Hey txduggan, thanks for bringing this up to us. Would it be possible for you to give me a link to a post that is not showing images, and I'll check it in Firefox and a couple of other browsers?

Are you using:

[img=your image url here]

Or using the image button insertimage.gif

I'm pretty sure I hand-coded .

Let's see....

Yep...hand coded the above and it's a hyper-link.

Done from Firefox 2.0........

Images in that thread and the image in your last post show up fine on my end in Internet Explorer and FireFox 2.0

I know you use Firefox, below is a screenshot I just took to show that it comes up. Now the hyperlink it displays for the image, clicks trhough to the image as a pop up?

Anyone else have this issue?

Interesting....when I'm not logged on, I see the in-post images....

I just logged on and they're back to hyper-links.

I'll check my profile settings next....

Great! Yeah there is a Display Settings area in the forum User CP. Thanks for taking the time to troubleshoot it. I don't know why I did not think of that on...

Unfortunately, I'm in IT and troubleshoot for a living....BLEH...

As the old adage goes, "It worked before!" LOL!!!!!

I know I didn't change my profile, so I'm blaming it on the tree huggers who hate ATV'ers....and I'm also blaming Lindsay Lohan......

Hi all - I recently had a shop fix this quad and it hasn't been right since. The jug was resealed as it was leaking, the rings were replaced, and the valve stem seals replaced. Shop said the cylinder walls were great so nothing was done there. The motor still smokes, heavily on startup and all but quits once warmed up. Enough that I can live with it if I can fix what I came to ask about. I mentioned this work because since I've gotten it back it seems like it has power but tops out at a much slower speed than before. It's old so I don't have a speedo but I pulled out my phone at it tops out at 25 mph. I know before the work, I was getting up to 45+ mph... It's so bad, my 10 year old daughter is pulling away and straight leaving me in the dust with her governed Polaris 90.
Given the work done, what are some thing I could be the cause of such a drastic difference? I immediately thought timing but the marks appear to match up with a youtube video I found... no idea if it's correct though. It sat in another shop for 2 months and they gave me an $800 quote just for the starter... it pull starts fine.
FYI: I would take it back to the original shop to figure out but I had some issues that make them a no-go for me.

Just thought I'd start a new thread for newbies to the site!
If you're new here, tell us who you are, where you're from and what you ride!!!
Lets get to know each other a little better shall we?
I'm not new to the site, obviously, but...

I am in the process of puting it back together after replacing the DPS gearbox.
The manual I have states that it will need to be flashed by a dealer. Is this still true?
Also , I have a mystery bolt That I cannot remember where it goes. M6x 70 or so.  Hex head with a flat washer.I will try to attach a pic.
Pic is no go for now....Cox issue I will try again later
      TIA
