1984 Honda TRX200 Manual Needed

Hello!

New here. Acquired an '84 Honda TRX200 a few years ago. Grandkids started tearing it apart and then lost interest. interest has been renewed, so we're putting it back together. Mainly needs tires/tubes(?) and a battery.

We moved it to make space and discovered it was stuck in gear. Not sure which LOL. Searching for a manual so I can go through it and familiarize myself with the mechanics and wiring. The wiring is a MESS! Seems previous owner lost the key and was trying to delete the switch.

I've owned several Honda motorcycles over the years, but this is first ATV. just looking through the wiring mess, appears not much has changed. Last Honda was a 750. I'm also a mechanic so really just a walk in the park to get this one going... I hope! LOL The engine turns easy and sound to have compression when the starter rod is pulled. Wish me luck ;)

      2000 Honda 400EX Backfires

      I’ve got a 2000 400ex with a dg slip on muffler, it came with he stock muffler on it but the previous owner had the dg in a box so I put it on. I’ve been riding it for the past month and a half and every time I let off it backfires, and the other day the backfires got way louder, 2x louder! I’m concerned that I may hurt my motor? Why does is backfire??? Thanks

      '03 Honda Sporttrax 400EX Carb issue.

      My name says it all. I have a '03 Honda Sporttrax 400EX with a new aftermarket carb on it that seems to be having issues. I can start it but it idles really rough and when I give it throttle it just kills the engine. I have tried adjusting the idle screw but to no avail. I am in the San Diego Ca area. 
      Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I would also like to get an owners manual for the thing too but can't seem to find a downloadable one.

      I recently bought a 87 TRX 250 not running of course, the owner had a brand new Key Switch on it.
      I think it is the wrong one or wrong wire colors as the colors dont match up with wiring diagram i downloaded for it. 
      anyone have a pic of their ign switch wires where they connect with the wire colors for that model? I ended up leaving the black/w stripe and
      green wire disconnected in order to hot wire it for other testing but would like to know as the colors dont match diagram.

      Hello all! I’m new to the 4 wheeler world, but not new to the mechanic world. I was a diesel mechanic for many years and last year got into jet skis. I just bought a 1987 Yamaha moto 4 350 and now learning the ins and outs of 2 stroke engines. Looking forward to learning all the things.
