Has anybody been to St. Anthonys, Idaho to ride the Dunes? Is it worth the trip?

Not sure about SW Idaho... but in the Idaho Pan handle the place to ride is just outside a town called Wallace. Next year the ATV Nation Nation Ride will be taking place in Wallace Idaho. It was there last year as well. I have done most of my riding there and it is concedered by those who have experienced it as one of the best places to ride in the nation. I have to agree. Great winter/snow riding too!

I just got back from a trip to St. Anthony sand dunes in Idaho, it took me 19 and a half hours to get there from Corvallis, Oregon, It was the best dune trip of my life, you guys near there are so lucky to have dunes like that. We have 5 different sand dune locations to ride here in Oregon but non of them are as sweet as St. Anthony, Check out some of our videos on you tube, our channel is Spartanracing43 we will have a video of our ST. A trip up in a couple weeks, So if you get a chance to go to St. A do it!!!!

I realize this is an old thread. The sand dunes in St Anthony can be a lot of fun! But they are always changing, there are hazards everywhere and lots of traffic. Many accidents here. Great potential for fun, but be careful!

Have you ever been on the trail and your tire valve goes bad. No way to break down the wheel and replace it. A lot of you probably know about this already i had heard of it but never used one. Just punch out the old one insert and tighten down the nut

So far it has worked very well.

I like to ride in wooded and grassy areas. It takes my mind off the everyday routines and helps me deal with my father's cancer. Also gives me a reason to get involved with forums like this one.

Hello all! I’m new to the 4 wheeler world, but not new to the mechanic world. I was a diesel mechanic for many years and last year got into jet skis. I just bought a 1987 Yamaha moto 4 350 and now learning the ins and outs of 2 stroke engines. Looking forward to learning all the things.

First post here need some help/advice. I bought a 2001 king quad 300, vin number JSAAK43A212111871. I have been trying to do some basic maintenance as it runs but doesn't idle all that well . I want to take out and clean/repair the  carb but when looking for parts it ask for model X Y K1 K2. How do I know which model I have? I have tried some vin decoders but they haven't told me. If anyone could recommend a carb rebuild kit for my quad Id appreciate it. Also any tips on tracking down an owners manual?
