I have a 2014 CForce 500 with the digital dash. The dash display is in kilometers and I cannot figure how to change to mph. Hopefully someone knows how to make the change.

, on our current 500 range you simply hold down the left dashboard button (when sitting on the ATV) and the dash will switch from Kms to Miles.

I found this on a CFMOTO page

I called cfmoto usa and they weren't sure how to change the display settings, said that no one in that office knew about a machine as old as mine (2014).

Wierd !! Is there a cfmoto website ? I know  theres a site for my Honda 450R that is full of info !!

Maybe someone on here might have a answer

I removed my surround of the guages, no hidden buttons sorry

something to try might  be hitting the switch under your seat that changes the clock, try playing with it holding it down or what not

      Hi,
This weekend went on a trip with my all brand new cforce 1000 touring, went from tarmac to reach the small muddy places and dirt and even sand.
Was running great until tre situations occurred:
First, after putting 50km without problems and still respecting the break in on the engine, we came across a sand small uphill and just turned the 4x4, and almost reaching the top, got a strange loss of traction with a noise like something was slipping, the noise looked to came from the front but cannot give 100% sure it was the differential or not, but something was definitely slipping, also i disconnected the 4x4 and tried to make the uphill only rear traction and almost reaching the top the same noise. I got a friend that was on my old 850XC and it drove pass this small uphill almost at idle.....what do you think??? Belt Slipping, Front differential or Gearbox/CVT?
Second, after this situation, i had the engine light going from on to off on the trail back home, but on the trail back home, i had no issues with temp rising nor noises nor anything, we drove normally, but without sand nor uphills, just rolling normally on dirt roads.
Third, a strange situation, riding on normal mode, i was going at 38 to 40km rolling but the engine was revving on 4000rpm at those speeds, i feel that it was a little bit more reavs than usual for that speed, but this is my perception, what do you think on this???

I bought a 1996 Sportsman 500 4x4 about a month ago, and I love it. Unfortunately, I've been experiencing a few problems with the high-range gear. The first problem is that the gear selector will intermittently pop out of high and into neutral. This problem will sometimes occur when starting from a stop and sometimes will also occur while at cruising speed. The last time this happened I stopped and put it back into gear, however, as soon as I tried to throttle the machine would die. I turned it on again with no problems put it back into high and it died again. Once again I turned it on with no problems put it into low instead and it worked fine with no problem. I drove in low down the road slowly for a little and then shifted back into high with no issues.
I plan on working on it this weekend and would just like some opinions or feedback from anyone who may have experienced these problems before. I'm very mechanically inclined but im unsure of exactly where to start as this is the first Polaris ATV that I've owned. Any feedback is appreciated and thanks in advance
