I'm thinking of getting a set of Jwheelz for my Honda Foreman and was wondering if anyone has any first hand experience with them. They look like a great idea for when I go Ice fishing just incase the unfortunate happens. As the saying goes, no ice is safe ice. Sure would beat losing the machine if it went through if they work as well as advertised. I did a search and didn't find anything on them.

Cheers all.

I've never heard of these, so I just looked them up. Pretty interesting adapters. For anyone like me who hasn't heard of these, from their site:

J-wheelz are an award winning attachment for ATV’s, UTV’s and 6x6 vehicles. Using a simple bolt-on attachment method, J-wheelz add traction and flotation without the cost and hassle of other systems

I guess they've been around for a while judging from this old video from 2010..

Yes they look pretty slick. Look amazing in the snow and way better than chains. Went to my local supplier here in Newmarket Ontario this morning and they said Kimpex up here discontinued them for some crazy reason. Just emailed J-wheelz and hopefully they can send them to me. I really want a set. cheers

Looks cool, @dee004.  My concern would be how much stress they put on your front end when riding through mud or water, and if your fourman is too heavy for them.  I believe the atv in that video looks like a recon which are SUPER light.  Could be wrong though.  Worth a shot for sure!  Definitely couldn't hurt to give them a try.

I think they may be out of business. I've tried calling and emailed them. No replies. That's a real drag and I can't find anything else like them anywhere. Mr Google comes up blank and if he doesn't know, it's a bust lol. They'd be easy to make if I could find some tapered plastic drums or something similar. The inserts would just be dock grade foam which would be a snap to cut.

So I decided to pick up a small trailer if I could get one for the right price.  I found this one for a few hundred bucks on Craig’s list.  It is  a galvanized trailer which is exactly what I was looking for. The wood was shot and needed some minor repairs which I could care less about as long as the chassis was good.
I striped it down and put a new deck on. I had some vinyl realtree graphics that I had laying around so I added them to the fenders which I think worked out well. Very happy with this little guy.
I'm having the iron workers at my jobmake me up a few lightweight side rails that will have a 22 degree bend in them to accommodate the tires that slightly hang over the edge and will incorporate some tie down points as well.

      Hello All
I'm kinda new to ATVs. I just bought a 1987 Suzuki quad runner 230 Dual Range. I'm having a problem finding info on it. It's very clean, only 2.800 miles. The front wheels are only 30 in.center to center. I was thinking about adding wheel spacers to give it more stability. I realize the added stress on ball joints and bearings. I'm wondering if there are any other concerns? Any input is greatly appreciated!

I like to ride in wooded and grassy areas. It takes my mind off the everyday routines and helps me deal with my father's cancer. Also gives me a reason to get involved with forums like this one.

I’ve got a 2000 400ex with a dg slip on muffler, it came with he stock muffler on it but the previous owner had the dg in a box so I put it on. I’ve been riding it for the past month and a half and every time I let off it backfires, and the other day the backfires got way louder, 2x louder! I’m concerned that I may hurt my motor? Why does is backfire??? Thanks
