Installed new battery was told that’s what was wrong when hit start button I hear 1 click then nothing?  Can the battery just not have enough amps to crank the starter the first time ? I trickle charged it overnight thought it was enough!

Probably not the battery, it’s either a bad starter/brushes or a starter relay. Easy test is to jump the two wires on the starter solenoid and see if the starter cranks. The wires are the two larger ones  with the nuts holding them on the solenoid.
ONLY DO THIS FOR A SECOND! If the engine does not crank then the starter need to be replaced.

Start  by  jumpering  directly  from the  battery  to the starter momentarily  to see if it  spins over.  Give the starter a rap  if it  does not  most likely the  brushes in the starter  are  bad .  If you have a meter  check  to see if when  you  press the start button  voltage goes to the starter.   Try  rapping on the starter  while holding the start button. If you  have no  power to the  positive on the starter  the problem  could be   in several  places . Start at the battery . Does it  show 12v or a bit  more ?..  Next make sure battery terminals are clean  and tight ..  Check  battery  ground cable  to  make sure  is  has good contact to the frame check  starter solenoid .. Do  you  have  battery  voltage to  it ? Check  output  from  the solenoid. If no  voltage there the relay  may be  bad. Power  on the  output  then  check  wire to the starter for  a break  somewhere .In all  this  I am  assuming the click you  hear  is the starter solenoid pulling in .  If there is  no  power to the solenoid the problem  could be  simply  the quad is in gear  and the safety switch stops  power to the  starter ..

So I decided to pick up a small trailer if I could get one for the right price.  I found this one for a few hundred bucks on Craig’s list.  It is  a galvanized trailer which is exactly what I was looking for. The wood was shot and needed some minor repairs which I could care less about as long as the chassis was good.
I striped it down and put a new deck on. I had some vinyl realtree graphics that I had laying around so I added them to the fenders which I think worked out well. Very happy with this little guy.
I'm having the iron workers at my jobmake me up a few lightweight side rails that will have a 22 degree bend in them to accommodate the tires that slightly hang over the edge and will incorporate some tie down points as well.

      Hello All
I'm kinda new to ATVs. I just bought a 1987 Suzuki quad runner 230 Dual Range. I'm having a problem finding info on it. It's very clean, only 2.800 miles. The front wheels are only 30 in.center to center. I was thinking about adding wheel spacers to give it more stability. I realize the added stress on ball joints and bearings. I'm wondering if there are any other concerns? Any input is greatly appreciated!

I recently bought a 87 TRX 250 not running of course, the owner had a brand new Key Switch on it.
I think it is the wrong one or wrong wire colors as the colors dont match up with wiring diagram i downloaded for it.
anyone have a pic of their ign switch wires where they connect with the wire colors for that model? I ended up leaving the black/w stripe and
green wire disconnected in order to hot wire it for other testing but would like to know as the colors dont match diagram.
