Looking at buying a 2005 Suzuki ltz400 - Not sure

Yes I am looking at buying a 2005 Suzuki ltz400. The guy said when he goes through a puddle or water it shuts off !!! I know it’s electrical . Does anyone have any ideas what the problem could be??? Let me know ASAP ??? I want to know if I should buy this atv ???

Going through a puddle ? That’s odd because most of the electrical components are higher up into the frame.  Something like that could be tricky to isolate.  If water is getting inside of a plug, water going near the stator etc but that’s the only parts that are down low.  The cdi could be gettin damp and causing that to happen but it could be anything!  You would have to really look at the bike for any exposed wiring or open areas like around the kill switch etc. 

I would rate this on a scale of 1 to 10 a 7 as far as being risky. If the price is right then yes it would be worth the effort. But if your paying a lot of money walk away. That’s my take.

      Help New to a Suzuki 2001 king quad 300

      First post here need some help/advice. I bought a 2001 king quad 300, vin number JSAAK43A212111871. I have been trying to do some basic maintenance as it runs but doesn't idle all that well . I want to take out and clean/repair the  carb but when looking for parts it ask for model X Y K1 K2. How do I know which model I have? I have tried some vin decoders but they haven't told me. If anyone could recommend a carb rebuild kit for my quad Id appreciate it. Also any tips on tracking down an owners manual?

      hello, i have bpr bombaradier rally 200 2007 which has a lot of gasoline in the oil sump, it is  4 stroke. Has anybody had problem like this and which can be the cause and how to fix it. i rode it today at -2 degrees celcius if it helps.
