I've bought a used 2007 Polaris Phoenix 200... it's in pretty good shape... but after it starts, warms up, a few minutes of my son riding around yard it will die... it refuses to start back until the next day, then same thing again... I've seen this is a problem but haven't found any real answers... my son is driving me crazy to get him back riding... any help is greatly appreciated...

That’s a great bike the Phoenix.  Take a look inside the thumb throttle cover there’s two wires inside the cover with a plastics partition that separates the wires. Mine was worn out and causing a contact issue.  I separated the wires and the problem stopped.  It’s a rev limiter that interferes with the ignition system.

This could be your problem.

Checked it out and wires are good I couldn't do anything to make a connection between them... I've found one possible issue in the carburetor with the needle that comes in thru top... do you know where the clip came set at factory?

Put on a new carburetor new gas lines new gas filter new air filter... started first bump... let it warm up over 5 mins... took it around the yard and it rand great... came back out 10 mins later started right back up took another pass around the yard and it dies again... refuses to start back up... could it be the coil or cdi box... anyway to test?

      Hello All
I'm kinda new to ATVs. I just bought a 1987 Suzuki quad runner 230 Dual Range. I'm having a problem finding info on it. It's very clean, only 2.800 miles. The front wheels are only 30 in.center to center. I was thinking about adding wheel spacers to give it more stability. I realize the added stress on ball joints and bearings. I'm wondering if there are any other concerns? Any input is greatly appreciated!

I like to ride in wooded and grassy areas. It takes my mind off the everyday routines and helps me deal with my father's cancer. Also gives me a reason to get involved with forums like this one.
