Welcome to Quadcrazy. I have seen the same problem with a Chinese 110 bike.  I’m not sure why but I have a question.

Same situation when rolling it etc. I started the bike against a wall so it would not go anywhere and let it run for 10 minutes. After it ran for that 10 minutes and shut it off the bike was fine to roll. And it was that way for a few days. After that the same thing happened.

My guess was that the oil in the engine makes the clutch plates swell up with oil from sitting causing the problem and clear up once things are spinning and centrifugal force spins out some of the soaked plates. Maybe a design flaw or poor clutch plate material (cheap) stuff maybe ?   Sounds crazy but that’s my guess.

My question is have you ran the bike for a while and seen a change. If not try what I said and let me know.  Never solved the problem other then starting the bike every few days but that’s a little nuts.

I take it as a feature, really easy to push start this way. 😊 Especially when the battery dies, or the switches just stop working for no reason other than the fact that it's cheap.

Had a 2007 110cc Chinese atv with the same problem. Went through a few different clutches over the years and, even when they were worn out to the point where it couldn't make it up the smallest hills, it would still grip like no tomorrow when off.

If I wanted to move it, I would just start it and let it idle while I pushed it around, or just picked up the back.

I'm trying to help a buddy out with his bike (he's not really on the internet or familiar with these forums) and I'll admit that I am not super familiar with the transmission and clutches in these bikes. I owned a Brute a few years ago, but never had an issue like this that I had to troubleshoot.
So basically my buddy bought a group lot of 650's to build one good bike out of. He got it all put together and has it running but when he pushes on the throttle the clutch doesn't engage till the RPM's are quite high and even when its moving it doesn't really speed up, almost seems like its in "limp mode". He's tried 2 different transmissions so I don't think that's the problem.
Is there any adjustment on the clutch engagement? Anything else I can tell him to look at? Let me know if you need anymore information if you think you can help.

I Was Riding By Myself. I was going through a Mud HOLE Either there was a log or a rock, or A Dip but just as I was almost through it, Machine, Rolled over on my right side, as soon as I contacted the ground, I Heard A SNAP! I got up, flipped the Quad back over. I had the wind knocked out of me.

My name says it all. I have a '03 Honda Sporttrax 400EX with a new aftermarket carb on it that seems to be having issues. I can start it but it idles really rough and when I give it throttle it just kills the engine. I have tried adjusting the idle screw but to no avail. I am in the San Diego Ca area.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I would also like to get an owners manual for the thing too but can't seem to find a downloadable one.

Im aware that this relay needs a positive (+) and a negative (-) to activate the other side. The blue wire is the neutral wire so when in neutral it gets ground. The green wire is from the parking break; when you pull the break in it gets ground (-). however one of those two needs to be neutral so that the positive from kill switch can go to the starter relay. The ground from the starter relay is from the start switch. Which one (neutral or parking break) should have a positive (+) voltage?
