Glad someone is getting on a track.....this summer blows so far....we have had major thunderstorms with tornados the last several Fridays ruining any chance of getting on our local track for the weekends.....they are calling for more bad weather this Friday too

Yep weather here has been weird too. I am still in the breaking in stage of my rebuilt so I can't go hog wild. I need a place to putt around for awhile. It has been a busy spring so far too.

Its funny to me that I have always heard of several different ways to break in a motor.....taking it easy the first tank of fuel.....timed rpm's with cooling off time..... and riding it like you stole it. Well after talking to one BIG engine builder in the quad business I have been going with the "you stole it" without any problems on the last two that I have rebuilt.

Well when I got it it had just been rebuilt .80 over and the guy I got it from drive it like he stole it. I was also very hard to start. The piston started slapping the first time I had it out. Took it down to my local dealer and it was scored pretty bad. I have talked with a lot of people who have told me that letting a 2 stroke warm up and cleaning the air filter on it was the best thing to keep the motor going.

So we are almost a month into winter and I've been so busy working on my house that up until today, I didn't realize that we just haven;t gotten any real snow yet to warrant putting the plow on my grizzly. So that got me thinking, what are the latest plows out there and what ATV plows are the best? I've got 2 snow plows for my grizzly, a quadboss pile driver atv plow set up and a snowsport ATV plow. They are both a bit dated now and I tend to stick with the snowsport due to ease of use and I just like it so much. So if you have a plow on your ATV, please let us know what it is and post a picture with your atv/plow would be awesome. Would also like to know what you like and dislike about it.
This is back a while when I did a write up on these 2 plows.... in 2009 I got the snowsport and in 2012 I got the quadboss.

I have a Sportsman 450 HO and almost killed my self when loading it on my truck with ramps.  It rolled off the top of the ramps and tailgate and nearly landed on me.  I now want to winch the ATV in to the truck.  My question is are the front side bed tiedowns in my 2011 RAM strong enough to winch to without distorting the hooks or sides of the bed?
