BuckBilly Posted March 3, 2008 #1 Posted March 3, 2008 My favorite tires are Kenda BearClaws and carlile Trail Wolfes. Quote
Guest Posted March 3, 2008 #2 Posted March 3, 2008 I have no experience since I'm relatively new.... But, the advice I was given was to replace the stock Dunnies on the Brute Force with ITP TerraCross... So far, really only stuck twice, and once was driver error....forgot to put into 4-WD going up a snowy hill...BLEH! Tom D Quote
trailblazer_02 Posted March 4, 2008 #3 Posted March 4, 2008 i like mudlite SP, Holeshot HD, and Maxxis Razr2, and Mudzillas! just depends on how you wanna ride Quote

Stoopidbot1 Posted March 8, 2008 #10 Posted March 8, 2008 The Terracross is a great tire, that is what we have on our Rhino. Kenda makes a great tire, alot of pros in the GNCC run the Knarley XCT. For the price you can't go wrong. I really want to get some sort of GNCC style tire. I really need a 6 ply tire. I'm pushing the stock dunlops for now. Quote
HvPhotog Posted March 10, 2008 #11 Posted March 10, 2008 have ITP's holeshot xct on one quad and have had no problems with it but just ordered some mudlites for the other quad.. but are sport 4x4's Chris Quote

HvPhotog Posted March 10, 2008 #13 Posted March 10, 2008 Wheeler what is a rider support package?? Quote
Stoopidbot1 Posted March 10, 2008 #14 Posted March 10, 2008 It is a sponsorship of sorts. They don't fully sponsor you but they give you freebies and fun stuff like that. Kenda might give them a new set of tires for every race. If I'm wrong correct me please. That is how it worked when I raced on 2 wheels. Quote
DirtDemon Posted March 15, 2008 #16 Posted March 15, 2008 Like the ITP Holeshots, but I run Maxis Razrs because I got them for cheap. Quote
HvPhotog Posted March 15, 2008 #17 Posted March 15, 2008 i like the holeshots too, actually ordered Holeshot HD's but when they came i realized they dont make the right size so i went with the mud lights which should be here tomorrow or monday: Chris Quote
racegun_2011 Posted March 15, 2008 #18 Posted March 15, 2008 I run ITP Mud Lite XTR's on my Grizzly and Maxxis Razrs 2 on my sport quads. Quote
outlander560 Posted March 17, 2008 #20 Posted March 17, 2008 i got mudlites on itp delta black rims Quote
Raptor8 Posted May 20, 2008 #21 Posted May 20, 2008 tough terrain and sharp volcanic rocks here. Got 2 flats on the stock Dunlop raptor tires in ONE day! The next weekend it was running on holeshort XCTs with Douglas .250 rims. No more flats going on 4 years now, and they still look good and grip well. RMATV of course! Quote
Roody Posted May 20, 2008 #22 Posted May 20, 2008 I have ITP TerraCrosses. Love them for what I do right now, so I'd consider them my favorite. But I'm looking to get into more mudding, so I may buy a set of High Lifter Outlaw MSTs. Maybe they'll be even better. Quote
Stoopidbot1 Posted May 20, 2008 #23 Posted May 20, 2008 We run TerraCrosses on the rhino. They are awsome. I just ordered some Razr2 for my quad. I'll let you know. Quote
CK1999_400ex Posted December 7, 2011 #24 Posted December 7, 2011 well the holeshot xct would have to be the best i have used so far for wear ... but my fav. of all time would have to be the good ol turf tammer .. best tire i have found yet for hard pack traction.. and they come in so many sizes its hard to beat ... Quote
oxidized_black Posted December 7, 2011 #25 Posted December 7, 2011 i like the itp xtr, but they are rough on smooth surfaces and hard to turn or roll stopped. i like the bear claws too. Quote
rappy97 Posted December 7, 2011 #26 Posted December 7, 2011 I personally like HoleShot XCRs and Razr 2s... Quote
AQUAJOE Posted December 7, 2011 #27 Posted December 7, 2011 I like the ITP TerraCross as well. But, I don't hate the Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 or Maxxis Vipr either. Quote
AQUAJOE Posted December 7, 2011 #29 Posted December 7, 2011 Maxxis Razr 2 over the Razr hands up!! Quote
hangingon Posted December 7, 2011 #30 Posted December 7, 2011 The only tire I can comment on is what is on my quad it's all I have had so far Interco super swamper vampires they have held up great no flats. I will say this they are not good at all at high speeds on hard surfaces and if your going slow they make the handlebars wiggle in your hands. Their great when you need traction on a trail ride. I want to get a set of radial tires from what I've read the prairies handle better with radial tires. Quote
