Hey, I am a novice quad mechanic and I'm new to the forum and have a question.  I have a 1987 Honda TRX250 that I ordered a new carb for.   After countless hours of research I chose an aftermarket (because I couldn't find an OEM) that was supposed to be "plug and play", and as you can probably figure, it wasn't.   Throttle cable is about 4 times to big to screw into the carb.   Has anyone else run into this?   Is it easier to find an aftermarket cable (which i haven't had much luck at) or just drill and re-thread the carb to accept the OEM cable?  (btw.....the company that sells the carb doesn't sell throttle cables)

      Well the Way I Ride, some of you knew it was Inevitable.
      Below are Three Videos.

      I Was Riding By Myself. I was going through a Mud HOLE Either there was a log or a rock, or A Dip but just as I was almost through it, Machine, Rolled over on my right side, as soon as I contacted the ground, I Heard A SNAP! I got up, flipped the Quad back over. I had the wind knocked out of me.

      5 broken Ribs
      1 Punctured Lung
      1 Broken Collar Bone
      2023 Quad Riding Season is Over for ME!

      I’ve got a 2000 400ex with a dg slip on muffler, it came with he stock muffler on it but the previous owner had the dg in a box so I put it on. I’ve been riding it for the past month and a half and every time I let off it backfires, and the other day the backfires got way louder, 2x louder! I’m concerned that I may hurt my motor? Why does is backfire??? Thanks

      '03 Honda Sporttrax 400EX Carb issue.

      My name says it all. I have a '03 Honda Sporttrax 400EX with a new aftermarket carb on it that seems to be having issues. I can start it but it idles really rough and when I give it throttle it just kills the engine. I have tried adjusting the idle screw but to no avail. I am in the San Diego Ca area. 
      Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I would also like to get an owners manual for the thing too but can't seem to find a downloadable one.
