You  might  be able to  find some  rubber  cups  the right size  in automobile parts   and  just hone  / clean  up  your  old  cylinders rather than try replacing them  with  new .  Here  is an  ad  on Amazon.com for rebuild kits  for your cylinders .. Pricey at  $39.95  a side  though .

https://www.amazon.com/Front-Wheel-Cylinder-Repair-OCP-06-502/dp/B00Z70L2LY

There  are also  other advertisers on the  Amazon.ca  site  listing them , but at US  prices  and of  course  insane  shipping  charges  from the  US.   If  you're in Canada ,  get  a  friend  inthe  US  to  order them  for  you  and they get  free shipping .  Shouldn't  cost a bundle  for them to parcel  post   on to  you;  or if you  can   do  down  for a visit  and pick them  up there .

Thanks for help y'all. I've actually gotten one cylinder piston out. I think I can salvage this one. Letting the other one soak a while. Those spring retainers are a PIA! Ouch pricey.

That's good news 👍

Hello all! I’m new to the 4 wheeler world, but not new to the mechanic world. I was a diesel mechanic for many years and last year got into jet skis. I just bought a 1987 Yamaha moto 4 350 and now learning the ins and outs of 2 stroke engines. Looking forward to learning all the things.

      Hello.
I'm new to the forum, I live in the UK. I have just bought a 1995 Yamaha Moto 4 350.
Generally the condition isn't too bad (I paid very little for it!), it looks quite original and all the plastics are quite good. The bad bits are no brakes, the rear axle bearings are shot and the transmission won't shift through the gears properly.
I'm not planning on a full rebuild but I would like to sort it out a bit. The transmission is my main concern. If anyone has any ideas on what might be the cause I would be grateful. I can explain what's happening in more detail if required.
      Thanks everyone,
      Kester

Hi. I just joined the community. I have a sheep farm and use a Polaris 500HO, Polaris 700efi and a JD Gator 825i for different jobs around the farm. I do all the repairs myself so I am sometimes needing some advice and maybe I can be of some help to others as well.

on my left brake handle (for the rear brakes) there's two wires attached to it. What are these wires for? They can't be for the tail light, since it only has on filament  I tried to trace them, but i got lost in the harness. I checked wiring schematics, but didn't see anything like that.
      I'll post a pic later.
