I need new exhaust on my 92? 250 Timberwolf. I am afraid that I will snap the bolts off in the head when I try to loosen them. I was wondering if it might be better to warm the engine up first as the aluminum should expand more than the steel bolts

these are blind bolts, into the head. penetrating oil isn't going to help. I think I'm just going to try and adapt the old pipe to the new without taking the flange loose.

Are they  bolts  or  studs? Usually such  as exhaust  manifolds  or   pipes  in the  case of   single  cylinder  engines are  connected  using  studs into the  engine  and  nuts  to  secure  the  pipe to  the  exhaust ..   Some  penetrating  oils  will wick  into  nuts ,  studs  or  even  blind  bolts ..  Warming  the  engine  might  help,  but  be  careful  of  fire  after  spraying  penetrating  oil. If  the  stud nuts  or   bolts  don't  break  loose   fairly easily , try  tightening a  little  and  then  loosening .. "rock"  them  a  little  without  over torquing in  either  direction  also  helps  break  a stubborn  bolt/ nut  loose.

So I decided to pick up a small trailer if I could get one for the right price.  I found this one for a few hundred bucks on Craig’s list.  It is  a galvanized trailer which is exactly what I was looking for. The wood was shot and needed some minor repairs which I could care less about as long as the chassis was good.
I striped it down and put a new deck on. I had some vinyl realtree graphics that I had laying around so I added them to the fenders which I think worked out well. Very happy with this little guy.
I'm having the iron workers at my jobmake me up a few lightweight side rails that will have a 22 degree bend in them to accommodate the tires that slightly hang over the edge and will incorporate some tie down points as well.

I’m brand new to 4 wheelers and just bought a 1987 Yamaha Moto 4 350. It has good compression and fuel, but no spark. I’ve looked high and low trying to find how to test all the components of the ignition system, but can’t find anything. This has a new CDI box on it, but I suspect it might be the stator. How do I test the stator on this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

i just picked this up. was told ran fine but overheating issues led to replacing head gasket and head. has not ran since. he is not a mechanic but helped someone else who he could not get back to finish job, got aggravated and put up for sale. i was thinking timing issues. i have 110-120psi on all 3 cylinders so i think valves are correct. dont know about distributor yet. however i have no spark. i have no power going to ignition coil. tried to follow white wire but gets lost in wire harness. does anyone have a wiring diagram? can anyone tell me what conditions have to be met before starting. motor turns over so i would think all safeties are met but you never know.
