So we have a 2000 BearTracker 250cc. We got hit by a tornado and it got flooded out. Water was well over the handle bars and it actually moved almost 40 yards by the water. Anyway, I've pulled the carb and drained the tank. New fuel and a "clean" carb. It fires right up first crank like it used to but bogs down after you try and give it any gas. Think it could still be a carb issue? Carb had a fresh rebuild in April and might have 10-12 hours on it since. After we got it out, It was never started until I took the carb off and cleaned it along with draining the tank. Carb has now been off twice with no differences. Any other ideas?

also the water seems to never end in the exhaust. I've gotten out as much as I could but it's still steaming quite a bit like there's more in there. Could this be the problem? I've never had an ATV get flooded out like this one before. Any help or other ideas would be great. Thanks yal.

Did you also change the  oil and filter?.. Water  vapor  could be coming  from  water  in the oil  boiling  off and  entering  the  intake through the  breather tube for the  crankcase.  Try adjusting the  idle  air  screw and or  the  needle valve settings. Bogging  on  acceleration sounds like  it  isn't  getting enough  fuel  (running  lean) when  you open the  throttle.

1st problem, Does anyone know where I can find a stock carb for my Timberwolf, I have tried two different aftermarket carbs and they both suck. The machine runs great until it gets good and warm, then it keeps stalling unless I feather the throttle. it will even stall while I'm trying to go from 1st to reverse or vise versa. I took it to a buddy of mine who is a bike mechanic for years, and he told me try to find a factory carb. When I look online from dealers it says "NOT AVAILABLE" anyone have any suggestions ?

2nd, The small tab on the rear axle for towing is to short for even pulling my small yard trailer, I can't even turn a little bit and hit hits. I tried making an extension which worked great as far as length, but it bends the tab and then the extension drags the ground. I have an idea of what to do to fix it, but wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem and see how you solved it.

As the 2025 ATV Motocross National Championship Series (ATVMX), an AMA National Championship, got underway with back-to-back Florida AMA Pro only events, it was evident that Phoenix Racing Yamaha’s Joel Hetrick picked up where he left off last season.View the full article

I’ve got a 2000 400ex with a dg slip on muffler, it came with he stock muffler on it but the previous owner had the dg in a box so I put it on. I’ve been riding it for the past month and a half and every time I let off it backfires, and the other day the backfires got way louder, 2x louder! I’m concerned that I may hurt my motor? Why does is backfire??? Thanks

I'm working on my uncles grizzly and it sparks once on initial cranking then no more after that. If I let off the start button then press the start button again it will spark once then stop sparking. I was wondering if anyone seen this issue before.  Also I've never used forums before so sorry if this question is in the wrong location.

My name says it all. I have a '03 Honda Sporttrax 400EX with a new aftermarket carb on it that seems to be having issues. I can start it but it idles really rough and when I give it throttle it just kills the engine. I have tried adjusting the idle screw but to no avail. I am in the San Diego Ca area.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I would also like to get an owners manual for the thing too but can't seem to find a downloadable one.
