Since I am military, i have mine insured through USAA. They cover collision damages, theft, storage damage, transportation damage, a bodily injury for anyone riding my quad. My buddy has it also and they covered his repairs on his brut force 750.

I tried geeting insurance through geico because they are a sponsor of the gncc circuit but wouldnt insure me because i raced.....they said they sponsoring was just for advertisment. So they lost the insurance on my truck, quads, snowmobiles, and toy hauler.

I tried to get insurance on my LTR450 and it was with USAA and I think they quoted me like 500.00 every 6 monts thats more than my truck. If it was cheaper I would. I am the only one that rides my bike but what if you have a hit with another quad? before too long it will be like car insurance espically if your at large gatherings like the sand dunes on weekends. Who knows what will happen.

i used to have insurance onmy bike but after i really looked into it insurance really doesnt cover all that much when you think of what will actually happen out there in the trails like colliding with another rider...which they wont cover you btw....the only thing that insurance covers up here in canada is fire and theft...im not worried about either so i pulled my insurance plus i saved a $1000 a year...it just seemed like a waste of money...plus they always want the whole year paid in full...lets face it some people just dont have thousands sitting in their bank accounts...i know if my bike ever gets stolen ill have to worry about it but my bikes under lock and key...the rappy is the only thing i own that doesnt have insurance...

Have coverage on the quad and trailer......until I do more research, my line of reasoning is better safe than sorry here in NY.

Plus, most, if not all of the charity/poker runs require NYS reg and insurance.....and I won't even start to talk about NYS reg!!!!!!

I use Progressive on my new quad and no insurance on the old one.I'm high risk(too many speeding tickets in my project car).It costs me 500 per year for full coverage plus bodily harm insurance.I've started slowing down on the streets and am looking for ways to get faster in the dirt lol. After I get the old quad to the point where it's rideable more than broken I'll probably get it insured also...

Don't have any insurance on our toys.....We use State Farm on our house, camper and three vechicles.....know of several folks that have insurance on their quads with State Farm in different parts of the country and only pay around $130.00 a year.....well we have so many quad thefts in this part of the country that ours would run just over $300.00 a year for each of our quads.....you would think that we would get some kind of a discount with everything else insured but not living here

Did you try AIG or Progressive?

wow, now that sucks.......i hope you have a super alarm system on the garage you keep the wheelers in :) too many get stolen these days.

We have a storage container that they stay locked up in and have two Rotties that guard it pretty good

And no we haven't checked with any other insurance companies.....State Farm has always treated us right with our house and vehicles....maybe when the kids are out of the house I will be able to afford another $1500 a year on em

So we are almost a month into winter and I've been so busy working on my house that up until today, I didn't realize that we just haven;t gotten any real snow yet to warrant putting the plow on my grizzly. So that got me thinking, what are the latest plows out there and what ATV plows are the best? I've got 2 snow plows for my grizzly, a quadboss pile driver atv plow set up and a snowsport ATV plow. They are both a bit dated now and I tend to stick with the snowsport due to ease of use and I just like it so much. So if you have a plow on your ATV, please let us know what it is and post a picture with your atv/plow would be awesome. Would also like to know what you like and dislike about it.
This is back a while when I did a write up on these 2 plows.... in 2009 I got the snowsport and in 2012 I got the quadboss.

I have a Sportsman 450 HO and almost killed my self when loading it on my truck with ramps.  It rolled off the top of the ramps and tailgate and nearly landed on me.  I now want to winch the ATV in to the truck.  My question is are the front side bed tiedowns in my 2011 RAM strong enough to winch to without distorting the hooks or sides of the bed?
